Even though I'm not with this person because they are already in a relationship but I did experience exactly what you described here. The first few lines the funny thing is when this happens was 7 years after closed off heart which was also around the time I originally met him if that was even the first time we met. But recently this was in October of 2020 wasn't expecting or looking for anything just and unusual innocent encounter that left me change in ways I never knew possible. Like you say "rearranges your stars it makes you realize what you thought was love was wrong". This person does not know how I feel out of respect for the fact that there was someone else I could go on forever about this but this is public comment so that's all I'll say.

Love don't run. That simple. I should recite this song to the many telling me I'm crazy to stand by the one I love. He fell ill a few weeks after we met and now I'm ridiculed for choosing to stay. They constantly ask why. Well, all of you out there, the answer is very simple: LOVE DON'T RUN. My family bolted the moment I fell ill myself it was one of the worst things they ever did to me. It was the proof they don't and never did care about me, because love don't run.

My husband's family told him to choose me or them. I was 17 and he was 19. That was 46 years ago this month! He chose and we've never looked back. Was it easy? No, not usually! Was it worth it?
