I remember a joke he did about staring out of the window and how most people (who are fucked by working all the time) can't see the point. But thinking for yourself takes a massive effort these days with so many distractions. I value peace and quiet over radio or television alot more since I discovered Steve Hughes.

No, that was something I've not seen anyone else do. ...I love George Carlin but, he is a bit of a one trick pony as regards his... angle, he does outrage... whereas, to my eye Steve manages to go all those same places... and others... while keeping it from becoming an angry monologue... , which Carlin could end up coming across like, sometimes... whatever, magic writing that, aye, real magic.
