It was nearly 16 years ago when he died. The 5 of September I think. R.I.P . I will never forget that speech his daughter said and she was only a toddler. That made me cry and I never cry it was so emotional bless her. I wonder what she is like today. Lots of respect

I really really wish he never died. He needed to teach his kids more and just have more good times with his kids and he is the number one dad in the world. It's really devastating for his family, last but not least his fans.

Very few celebrities make an impression enough that I’m sad when they die but Steve got me into wildlife studying zoology and got me out in the wilderness. I actually cried when he died and this is the first time I’ve watched him since. I’m glad Terri looks well. We miss you Steve.

Steve was such a legend. Glad I was a child when the crocodile hunter was on air. Educational as any show I ever watched. And you could tell he really loved wildlife. I was around 12 when he passed. I felt so bad for his family.

I remember my alarm clock turning on and the CJOB station played and just remembering the news talking about Steve Irwin’s death. I was shocked and instantly sad to hear his passing. I’ve watched the debut of The Crocodile Hunter series and was instantly hooked the the program. I was always into nature and wildlife and by watching his programs made even more enjoyable to observe, photograph and study nature. Steve was gone too soon and he did what he loved. I’m sure he loved his fans as well. Deeply missed. 🐊🌏

Robert looks so much like his Daddy!!! I wish my kids could have grown up watching Steve too. However, they are growing up watching the rest of the Irwin family!

Steve Irwin was the best. Simply, like jimmydawgydog said, "I miss this guy. What a loss." Short and sweet and to the point. Steve Irwin helped define the 1990's , and was in VERY small club of David Attenborough, Jacques Cousteau, Ron and Valerie Taylor, to the 21st Century's Mink Man.

Honestly is there any wonder he was eventually killed by a wild animal? Watching him run up that tree narrowly getting bit was really close. One slip, one broken branch r the dragon jumping just a little further the anticipated and Steve would have been in a world of hurt. Komodo dragon bites are insanely infectious. They don’t have to kill you on the spot to kill you later. I don’t know why he insisted on getting so close to these animals.

"Clever" camera tricks. A lot of creative splicing of footage and recreating fear. Note the shots where the camera man doesn't pan down to "the komodo". You can tell when Steve is looking down at an empty space on the ground pretending to be scared of like, grass and dust and stuff. A lot of good pretending happening in Steve's videos. But if it gets people interested in nature and wildlife.

Ik everyone loves the dude but through out his career hes harassed animals to for clout. He litterly was behind the stingray while his friend in the front blocking its path. It was threatened. Horrible way to go just leave them alone. Its entertaining for people but cost him his own life.
