Absolutely. Im sure Steve felt no animosity towards it as he lay dying. He knew it only did what it did because of a perceived danger it thought it was in.
As Steve would say....when I take a bite from an animal, it is never EVER the animal's fault. Its always my fault. I miss him. I'm looking forward to seeing the next episode of the new show....Crikey! Its the Irwins. The first episode was amazing. And Steve is still VERY much there with them....in spirit, watching over them and cheering them on. I know he was standing right there with the proudest Steve smile on his face, watching Robert do his first Croc show with Wes and watching Bindi tend her animals. He would be so proud that they are carrying on his legacy. The burst of emotional nostalgia was real.
nice comment, although I'd had to agree with others that this is a crocodile. point of the comment is that steve irwin is a "showman" even though his manager says he never was.
Say what you will, but Steve Irwin was more of a man than just about every single living male on the planet. He knew what he loved, he educated us, he put forth so much work into wildlife conservation, and he knew all the dangers. He knew every single morning that today might be his last day alive, and that day eventually came, but he faced it like a man and died a hero. God bless him.
@@seanbarker9272 I know it was a total dub, I mean doesn't matter if you are the master of animals, I love Steve Irwing; but anything unexpected good or bad makes your heart jump, so I can't imagine not cursing when a deadly snake bits your face off.
"His open mouth was right by my leg" Croc: *Bites leg* "Did you get that on video?" Most people would be swearing like a sailor but nope, not Steve, he just wanted to make sure it was caught on film. XD
Steve Irwin died when i was 2 and i myself look up to him. Steve inspired me to start my youtube channel and is the reason i have an interest in animals.
Dunno how people could hate Steve , he was a great man , fuck he went into Timor when it was a war zone just to save some animals, I wish we could trade him for Justin bieber
That is nowhere near an equal trade, i stepped in some dog faeces earlier today and i will trade you that shoe (just the one) for justin bieber, that seems more fair and equal.
He says "Son of a bitch" but because the show was generally watched by people of all ages due to Steve's distinct personality and his fearlessness in the face of aggressive animals, it was probably smarter for them to edit it out.
Savage Kiddo he was filming for his tv show at the time and was doing a segment on stingrays. Unfortunately the stingray he was swimming with must have felt threatened because it lashed out with its poisonous tail and stabbed him right through the heart. He died shortly afterwards.
Back when Animal Planet was actually about animals... Now it's about building pools and tree houses and all that other nonsense 😔. This guy defined by childhood it feels so good to look back at all these moments
Steve was the main reason why I watched Animal Planet. After he died, that channel hasn't been the same, and they started making shows that have next-to-nothing to do with animals. Real sad.
"Now it's about building pools and tree houses"--Really? I haven't watched Animal Planet in years. Damn, that's a shame. It's like how the History Channel no longer shows documentaries that are, you know, actually about history. Now it's like, "Could aliens have built the pyramids? Let's entertain the idea for half an hour!"
Yeah its really disappointing. Always has to be about humans. I remember their reasoning being “humans are animals too”. Animal planet was my escape from stupid tv shows. But not anymore. I watch nat geo now.
*crawls out of box after having leg bitten by crocodile* *looks disapprovingly at croc* "Hey thanks a lot!" "Didja get that on video?" What an absolute legend we lost.
As a kid, I remember always watching The Crocodile Hunter. Steve truly loved what he did and his genuine passion and his energetic personality will always be remembered. He educated many and truly was fearless. Rest In Peace, Steve Irwin. God bless you and your family💗
He was a real one that followed his passion and taught a lot of people the value of the animals we are typically scared of. People like him are a treasure to the world.
+Jack Dent Don't listen to those crackheads over at PETA who say it's a good thing he's gone and that he treated animals like slaves. It's an absolute insult to his name. R.I.P Steve Irwin.
psychobeefsticker I agree, for him being only 13 he's very personable and has a lot of qualities of his father. I just hope he grows up to be crazy(in the best way possible) like his father
+Gustavo Fring lethal toxin to the heart.... "of all things" is right... almost as if it was meant to be... death was certain... I miss you Steve... Animal planet/discovery was never the same without you.
coming from 2020 here.. im 26 right now and always loved your show since i was a little kid. you inspire me so much to love animals and explore. rest in paradise steve.
One of my favorite childhood memories from Steve Irwin is that Python biting his face. I was a kid when he murmured "son of a bitch." Yes, I got the DVD that is uncensored. LOL!
I loved watching him on tv. Unfortunately I never had the chance to meet him but from what I've seen he was the most patient, happy, calm, brave guy I have ever seen and he absolutely loved what he did. There will never be another person in this world remotely close to Steve Irwin.
I like that he refers to the animals as "potentially dangerous" and not just dangerous. Animals should be respected, not feared and I think Steve did a great job at helping people understand this. All of the danger he put himself in here and the injuries he took from them, he clearly states it's because he wasn't careful enough or not paying enough attention
How can anyone not like Steve he's got the most balls to do what he does and that is the reason why This guy is such a legend he enjoys what he did and not only made it fun but really educational as well
Man I miss his show, it was educational, entertaining, and always fun to watch. His passion for animals just radiates around him. There will be no one like him. R.I.P. lengend
I was so obsessed with Steve's shows when I was younger, I'd spend an entire day binging when they'd do marathons. I'm so glad the Irwin's are bringing animals back to animal planet again!!
The way this man playfully tells the croc "Thanks alot" in a joking way with a slight smile with no malice in his heart towards the animal to damn pure for this world 😭😭
I was heart broken when my mom recently told me about his death and never told about it when it happened on the news (because I don't pay attention to the news) she new I would be heart broken too. I was about 11 when she told me and I would always watch his shows including some other nature documentaries. He was the reason why I like animals and why they fascinated me. I would trade iggy azalea for him. He was my CHILDHOOD
