15 years not talking to your own children??? This cult has a lot of blood in their hands!!

Luckily me and my husband saw fault in the doctrine just before being baptised. Our understanding of the bible is so different now. We rely not on men to teach us but allow the holy spirit to lead us into all truth. Our faith grows stronger everyday.

You are a blessing Steve. Thank you for sharing your testimony. I was not raised a JW but joined as an adult in 1996. I was asked to appear at some intimidating hearings in 2004 because I was talking too much about Jesus. I was DF'd and given the label 'apostate' for answering yes to the elder's question "can a person have a relationship with God outside the organization?" I can testify that yes I can!! They honestly believe they are the sole channel through which God speaks to mankind. If a person believes that, they ought to stay in the organization. As for me, I believe Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father but through HIM (John 14:6)

Mr. Steven, you have clearly begun your spiritual journey. May you continue to find and experience the peace that comes from knowing our Creator’s unconditional love and mercy.

I'm happy to see you do this. I left 38 years ago without internet or any encouragement on the outside. I feel the same way about faith and Jesus and being born again! Peace!

As a JW for 33 years and trying to Express my concern for my family who are still in, and given up on this now because of the society's brain washing they are very hard to reason with. Your straight forward testimony is both logical and emotional and strikes a chord! Your boys can only wake themselves up and that waking up has started with your loyalty to christ 15 years ago, bless your awakening and your proving true to christ and knowing that, with God all things are possible. Blessings Steve, your loyalty to christ is noticable, there's only one door (john 10 1-16) and it has been opened for you and me because it's the only way.

What a sincere video. Love the explanation of being born again. I was a born in who left almost 3 years ago. The Holy Spirit showed me so much and who the Lord Jesus is. So happy when I find born again ex JW’s. Your right so many have gone atheist and it’s heartbreaking

Thanks for sharing Steve. I too got off the JW hampster wheel and began a verse by verse study of the Scriptures. I was always perplexed at how little recognition JW's gave to Jesus. They will say Jesus is in their publications, but pay attention to how often they use the name Jesus. It's just not in their vernacular. I now recognize that not an earthly channel, but ONLY Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life! John 14:6

Hi Steve. Your testimony is great! I can relate to 90% of it, but only because I was never an elder. I went through the same embarrassing moments and fears as you, when I had to dress up for the field service and worry about calling on the door of a school friend! I was a J.W. for 42 years. I have been born again since November 2012, and have never felt so free and happy as I do now I have Jesus in my life. Good on you bro. God bless.

I just wanted you to know you hit the nail on the head. I discovered for myself that reading the Bible (NWT) from beginning to end was the answer to having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and Jehovah God. I can honestly say I have read it 5 times! No one can stand in between you and Christ and God. Thank you for making this video, you are the 1st I have heard of that actually read it. These are very serious matters and we need to make sure that we continue to live our lives as true Christians apart from that organization that we got baptized into. Trying to understand what being born again means to be baptized properly is quite an undertaking for truth seekers. You have done that and you’ve come to find the answers that you find satisfying. I’m trying to do that as well & but you shared today will help me in my search for understanding truth. I had those types of encounters in field service. I have come to similar understandings about the ORG and Jesus. I think among other things, we should have realized, calling it "the truth" when GOD'S WORD, says JESUS is the truth.. c"mom. Thx SO MUCH for your word here. Hello Steve ! I’m so encouraged by you not abandoning faith all together as many witnesses do when the wake up. I am totally with you that it’s wrong to lash out against them, bashing them as many do. I believe that’s a disservice to the Glory of God and just gives them fonder. Thank you for your choice to expose error Which is biblical. I too was basically raised a JW but thankfully never got baptized so I haven’t experienced as harsh treatment as many others have in leaving. I was shunned by some in my kingdom hall because they assumed I was baptized and they treated me differently based on what was being printed in the watch tower from month to month regarding disfellowshipped people. I want to share with you a RU-vid channel that has been Refreshing to discover. His name is Mike Winger and I will strive to send you a link he deals biblically and thoughtfully regarding the teachings of Jehovah’s Witnesses you can search his channel and listen if I’m not able to send you the link. He has many videos regarding Jehovah’s Witnesses- and does a great job respectively pointing out error in their teaching!

Dear Steve Thank you for sharing your story. Not sure how I got this but I was blessed by your clear presentation of the Gospel. I am a practicing Christian and I don't know much about the J.W.'s. But I do know religion is often a barrier to really encountering Jesus. Thank you for your story. I am thinking of the Phillipian jailer who was saved, when Paul and Silas were praising God in prison. He and his whole household were saved. We pray that it will be from the inside out for them as well.

Born in Left August 9, 2019. Reason: Australian Royal Commission.

I felt the same way after being disfellowshiped. I thought now what do i do. I prayed to Jehovah all the time for everything. So i i just never stopped praying. They told me nobody could pray for me so i thought well i can pray for me and i did. I also remembered a talk i herd at a meeting about a sister in china that was thrown in prison for having a bible . She was sentenced to 20 years. During that time she had no communication with any witneses had no bible to read. She carved scripture into the wall of verses she knew. Upon release the brother said she was more spiritual and joyfull than a person who was at 3 meetings a week. So i felt that i was ok to pray and have faith and strive to be christ like without being at the kingdom hall. They caused me to loose friends i loved very much and the reasons of being df was not right but they could not take away my love for God or his for me. This was part of how i kept sane and kept living and prayers were answered and continue to be. I actually felt a big weight had been lifted from me. No anxiety of having to sit in a room with 3 men and be asked inapropiate questions and fear of being shunned and they said they pray for Jehovahs holy spirit to guide them in thier decision of disfellowshiping a person and how ironic to say that when 1 or all sitting there judging you are commiting sins as bad or worse than you i dont personally feel holy spirit was flowing through them at all. Before the year was up 2 of them were themselves df.

Steven, what encouragement that you brought. One other comment from Eric mentioned how good it is to see an ex jw who did not abandon their faith in God. I've also watched several videos and even though good information was given, some say they are atheists. It's so sad to hear that. I do believe a separation is happening and this false doctrine is being exposed more and more by God.

I served at world headquarters in Brooklyn NY for 5 years, Served as An Elder over a Decade, Service Overseer , Served in Foreign language congregations and in Dominican republic with my wife. 3 plus years ago We (My wife and 3 children that I actually personally baptized at the convention wrote our disassociation letters and turned them in the same day. The reasons are spirituality based and are sad but true. We have suffered but are building real relationships with one another and for me with Christ not Just Religion. I have yet to make any videos, but your testimony is inspiring and encouraging to reach out! Thank you for sharing the test of your life with us! Maybe this will give you some hope. I shunned my Dad and brother, because I tought it was the right thing to do to get them back. But after many many years....I could not do it anymore because I tought it was so unloving. Even if your boys are not ready yet, your new found love for jezus and new happiness and peace of mind can maybe trigger them to investigate the fact, that you and people like me, have peace of mind and are happy without the "organization".
