Did you guys truly comprehend the true life meaning behind his speech? I don't mean the words but the absolute true message. I was born the last year of Gen X and I didn't grasp this until I turned 40 and given a very bad diagnosis as Steve 6 years later would hear. I've never heard of this speech until I just read about it and had to watch it.

va.wl eh, I’d still say the vast majority would understand perfectly fine, I mean he works off of emotion here which is core to every human being. A universal language, really. The main difference is how many people would actually do something about it. I’m willing to bet that every 9 out of 10 people that watched this video took what Steve said on board, but just either lacked the stability (by that I don’t mean in a mental sense) or the courage to actually do something about it. That’s in no way a bad thing though, as there is no perfect fit for everyone to live a great life.
