@@RachelWillisCoach Oh my, where to start???? I literally live to listen to Ted Talks - it's a great way to pick up snippets of info and pointers, on any topic, to use in future talks.
@@fredyoung4008 Totally agree - I'm going to do some Ted Talks videos.. I think it'll be interesting to look at the techniques / technical elements used in that environment :)
Great video! I'd like to see what you think of Elon Musk (as a presenter). He seems to be very shy, not comfortable in public speaking, and not a good presenter, but I feel like his presentations are not bad, because he is authentic (or at least he tries) and more important, he loves what he is doing, as he revolutionizes many industries (Tesla, SpaceX, etc.). That could be a good one, and probably a complicated one, to analyze. Also, some speakers on TED Talks could be good candidates to review, as I think they receive some coaching from TED Talks to help them to deliver more interesting presentations. BTW, your audio was very good for this video. 👍 Better than your previous one, as I didn't hear the little "something" (I still don't know what it is) that made it more difficult to listen to. After all, maybe a simple lavalier microphone is better than fancy, more expensive microphones. I don't know if you're aware but Rode released the Rode Wireless GO II a few days ago. You probably use a professional transmitter/receiver if you're wireless, but if you're wired , that could be interesting to look at it. You can connect the lavalier microphone in the transmitter, and there is no wire to the camera or the computer. I don't have one, but reviews are all excellent. I have a Blue Yeti, but I rarely use it, as just a few inches away from the microphone makes a huge difference. I now use a Rode Lavalier microphone connected to my camera (Sony) and it works very well (mainly for video conferences).
Thanks for watching Tommy - Yes, Elon Musk is on the list. He reminds me of Bill Gates back in the day in terms of his delivery. Totally agree, TED Talks would be good to analyze. They receive a lot of stage / speaker coaching, and I think that would be interesting / helpful for audiences to see. I have a few favourite TED Talks I might use, but let me know if you have any suggestions? Thanks for the heads up on the new Rode mic, I'll check that out. Always looking to improve sound. I do find the lavalier never lets me down, the sound is consistently better.
