Steve Lin performs Capricho de Goya No.18, "El Sueno de la Razon Produce Monstruos" by Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco.
Steve Lin has performed throughout the United States, Italy, the Philippines, Japan, Mexico, and Taiwan. He is praised by Classical Guitar Magazine as “a confident player with a powerful sound, quick hands, and a solid musical memory” and was the first prize winner at the Boston GuitarFest Competition and the East Carolina Guitar Competition. He has two albums on VGo Recordings: Eliot Fisk Series Vol. 1 and Imagen. Steve is guitar professor at San Jose State University, where he teaches guitar and music. He is a founding member of Black Cedar Trio, dedicated to music for flute, guitar, and cello.
Steve earned his B.M. and D.M.A. from New England Conservatory, and his M.M. from Yale School of Music. His teachers have included Eliot Fisk, Oscar Ghighlia, Lorenzo Micheli, Ron Purcell, Ron Borczon, and Wei-Ren Chuang.

Absolutely phenomenal. Honestly, one of the most inspired performances I've seen recently of any piece, on any instrument. I'm glad to see such a brilliant classical performer sitting this way, because I have back problems playing for long periods in the other position. Thank you Steve for sharing this.

Hi Stewe, thanks for the compliments! This piece took a while. But I suppose, it's one of those pieces that moved me so deeply that I was willing to go against many odds and practice it boat loads.

I thought it would suck! This is very hard piece to play musically but you did it. Im only 1:08 into it so far and im calling it. Thank you.
