Can't imagine what your passports through the years look like. These compositions, colors, this is the level of work I want to make one day, especially with human subjects. Walking around Hong Kong and Bangkok completely changed the way I take photographs but looking at your work inspires me so much. Thank you for lending your time to this conversation Steve!

Yes - I thought that too. His famous 'Afghan Girl' photo was taken on a Nikon F camera - that photo made him famous and put him on the map. He used Nikon for well nigh 40 years. He has suddenly been 'head hunted' by Leica, and he now seems to disown Nikon. Most of the work he still posts on Insta and nearly all the stuff he puts up in his galleries, were all taken on Nikon cameras. It is sad he does not acknowledge them anymore - it's as if he sold himself to Leica and he is unable to use his voice. Nikon is for the practical man - only vets, doctors and surgeons can afford a Leica.
