The tuba player on the right is Sam Jaffe, who founded the new Preservation Hall. His son, Ben Jaffe plays the current tuba. I went to get an amplifier, in Bethesda Maryland, and the seller was a teacher of Sam, who said that he quit the university and went to New Orleans, to play jazz. My son went to Valley Forge Military academy, and there, in the marching band was Ben Jaffe, and as the stands were small, we sat next to his mom. Years later I took my son to Preservation and met her again. Anyway, I did meet the originals, much earlier, and if it were not for a white tuba player from Maryland there would not be the New Preservation hall. There was an older one. And there are recordings from that time. Anyway, I am eighty years old and remember when it started. I guess re-started. He did a great thing.

Preservation Hall personnel: Cie Frazier (drums), Paul Crawford (trombone), "Sweet Emma" Barrett (piano & vocals), Punch Miller (trumpet), George Lewis (clarinet), and Allen Jaffe (tuba - playing a helicon style horn). Allen and his wife Sandra developed Pres Hall starting in 1961. All but Crawford have wiki pages for more information.
