Steve Morse: "Speed isn't everything", yes, his sound, tone, and ways to play is nothing alike, like he is drawing a power from the nature You can see "twilight sky, far fetch ocean, swarm of birds flying over the sky, aurora on the mountain summit" from his solo section
So sad that he just left DP (23/07/2022), after almost 30 years in the band, under so difficult circumstances. Hope his wife gets well soon. I can't believe that we won't see him performing with the guys again! He will be missed so much! Thank you for all these years and memories, Steve! 🥺🥺🥺
30 years!!! How time flies. Steve said he wanted to be the last guitar player for Deep Purple. I wonder if he will be. What an absolute monster of a musician.
@@beachcomber4141, i remember him telling that he wanted to be the last DP guitarist but "reality intervenes", as Steve Morse stated in his announcement. 🥺🥺🥺
24 years have passed since that evening at the Idroscalo in Milan, when I still listen to this man and his performance today I feel exactly like I did then and I was 20 years old. there are no words to describe this thing, I just know that it makes me feel so good to listen. I love you Steve
Amazing musician, first time I heard him is when I bought a vinyl copy of unsung heroes with the Dixie Dregs, have enjoyed His music ever since , no one like Him!!
This was the first ‘guitar solo’ I ever heard and what has followed has been the most amazing journey so far.. 20 years and counting. Thanks for everything Steve ❤
Holy cow... I've seen him play live like 4 times now- but this just blows everything else away. Steve Morse is to guitar solos what Neil Peart is to drum solos- not necessarily the world's fastest player, but no one comes close to his skill or versatility or musicianship. What a great video!
My brother passed away 16 years ago I love Deep Purple because of him. He introduced me to Deep Purple (I was 14 yrs younger than him). When he passed all I wanted to do was to listen to this tune why I cried. I swear I could feel his presence.
Dainese Aldo.
Flash back to 2013 my brother show me this video and i love the music...And again i came back in 2023 just to listen this music and i miss it already love u steve moore❤
Стив тут молодой, яркий, полон сил для игры в новой для себя команде, на высоте. Как много разных техник он совместил в этом соло, сколько всего он пытался сказать. Спасибо Стив, благодаря тебе и полюбил и начал заниматься музыкой.
I really appreciate this video being posted. I had the chance to enjoy this very solo some months before Australia, at an open air stadium under a starred summer night. Absolutely incredible.
Steve the man ^^ . If he can't do it no one can \m/. One of my favo Guitarist ever, and what a damn fine solo he's putting on here ;) . Keep up the good work Steve ;) .
Great Solo Great guitarist he,LL be sadly missed by Deep Purple.. As he did a Sterling Job.. Hope he gets some rest and his wife makes a Speedy recovery. Respect to the man, all best wish for health in future.
He plays like a bird singing. What stunning musicianship - Morse really showcases the versatility of the guitar. To the special person who let this bird out of her cage XX
Просто волшебство! Блэкмор и Морз два великих гитариста их нельзя сравнивать. Оба были одной из звёзд Deep Purple! Ими и останутся ! Жаль что он ушёл и DP.
oMG this is like the best solo ever!!! geniously made... indeed speed is not everything - this solo is so deep .. so developed! - I love especially the part starting at 5:35 - what is the effect used ther btw ? (long delay maybe? ) thanx for uploading this masterpiece!
