Oh yeah. S1 I would say that I was like Okay I like Steve and then quickly was like eeeeh Jonathan is a better fit. Then going into S2 I was like this is cute, it's a will they won't they, but then I really liked Steve and him telling her 'it's okay, Nance' made me like him a lot more than Jonathan. Plus, I just felt a bit bad. It seemed like Jonathan and than Murray were both telling her in their own way what was best for her and that Steve wasn't it. This is already after she has trauma from feeling like her relationship with Steve was the reason that Barb was killed. S3 I loved that they both had separate growth and it seemed like Jonathan didn't grow as much? S4 I think his character development is just going in a different direction. I think it would have if he was in Hawkins or not. Definitely check out the S4 Vol 2. trailer if you haven't! It's so good. They really pulled a movie budget trailer out for this second half.

@@katwithlove I thought after S1 that Jonathan was a better fit, too. But I think Nancy was really pressured by Jonathan and Murray in S2. And while Steve was evolving from teenage jock I feel that Jonathan wasn`t evolving. I didn`t like the Jancy-relationship in S3. And in S4 it was so far nonexistent. Not only because of the long distance between Hawkins and California. I don`t like the way Jonathan is now. He was always so responsible and he still wants to throw everything away to keep his family safe. But on the other side he is slacking around and doing drugs, no matter if Eleven & Will are right there. I know he has had some bad trauma, but all the others have so, too. Steve has come a long way. He is some sort of "Mama Bear" for the gang, a true friend for Robin & Dustin. And he is trying to keep everyone safe, no matter what. I think the chemistry between him and Nancy in S4 is amazing. I truly hope they will both survive and I hope Eddie & Robin are right in the end and they will be together again. I have seen the Vol. 2 trailer and I can`t wait for Vol. 2 to finally air. But I´m worried also who will die. My favorite characters are Nancy, Steve and Max. I hope they will survive. I`ve watched your video a few times today. It is really amazing. You are very talented!

Thank you thank you!!! Honestly i was so into Jancy in S1 and then after that Steve really grew on me and the things they said about each other. To me it's kind of funny that Nancy got with Jonathan and in this last season when she's describing why she loves him, well she's also describing everything that Steve is as well.

​@@katwithloveI felt that Nancy was describing Steve when she talked about why she loved Jonathan. Nancy said "He protects the ones he loves" it's inevitable not to think about Steve ❤

Hi! thank you for the awesome comment. Yeah I definitely can understand that. I could take them or leave them (most of the ships) because I just loved the plot a lot. Then I got really into rooting for Jonathan and Nancy, but Steve really pulled a fast one on me. TBH i know a lot of people want Eddie to play some song to pull Nancy out. I read a fanfic a bit ago that had him singing to her softly, almost crying, because they dont have any cassettes of her favorite songs on hand and I would just looove that so I had to throw a little bit of Toto's Africa in.
