Tami, His music got me through Stage 2 Ovarian and Stage 2 Peritoneal Cancers in 2020-2021, also. I am so glad we are both Cancer Survivors!!! His voice takes me back to the days when life was so much easier and less complicated! Continued good health

I'm listening to this interview again. I've heard it over and over and I still love to listen to Steve Perry. I just can't get enough of him. When I heard you better wait on this interview . I had to have this CD He sounds amazing his voice I just love to hear talking or singing. When he said what you need ain't always what you should have. Was priceless I have never felt so connect to a intertainer as I do with him. He is so for real. God I love this man 💖💘❤️ . I could go on forever listen to him. 17:30 was hilarious! Steve Perry is chill and funny. I was only 14 when this interview happened (I’m 43 now), so I wasn’t really into Journey (grunge and all). But I have since become a Steve Perry-specific mega-fan and have often wondered, as a woman, how that was *possibly* comfortable. My husband has been no help because he’s never dared to wear pants that tight. Steve is such a legend, and his easy sense of humor just makes him better!

I just came across this interview. WNCI, Columbus, Ohio. Dave Kaelin is still a staple in Columbus. I don’t listen to WNCI any longer because I don’t like the music they play. Back when it was Dave Kaelin, John Cline and Shawn Ireland - they were the best morning show around.

9:30 Steve says Tom Rose Painting is inspiration for the album title. Odd this is there is a video on youtube on Tom Rose's chanel where he plays clips of Perry from this interview and others saying that and claims Perry or Perry's management team stole the painting and at some point or something like that and that Perry never paid Rose for the title. Maybe because the Album though a musical masterpiece was not very commercially successful . IDK. But anyway , has anyone ever seen this painting? I wonder who has it. It's probably in someone's attic somewhere.
When Steve talked about his three year relationship that ended up in friendship, because he wasn't in that same space of long-term love, I just had a thought yeah but if it's you making that decision it's great you can be friends but if he was not the one making that decision to leave the relationship and somebody broke up with him that's much harder he has said several times that although he's kept in touch with his ex-girlfriend Sherrie, they've only spoken a few times. It is much easier to stay friends with somebody when you're the one walking away from the love affair. The other part of this that I really liked was the potatoes

It's September of 2020 am at work and I'm still listen to Steve Perry.l love this interview his speaking voice sounds great everyone seems to be having a good time. That question about the potatoes in his tight jeans back then was priceless. Steve had a good since of humor. I just love this man. in Cleveland Ohio a million miles away from you forever your fan.
