And that's one of the reasons I am in love with this man, I've never met him, will never meet him, I only relate with him through his music, he touches my soul and heart so much every time I listen to his voice, his songs, know it's not normal ,I honestly love this man.

I saw a TV show where a woman claim no adamant have been carrying on a online relationship with this man and that now she was engaged to be married to him of course he asked her for money so we all know what that was but I'm positive this man has a lot of lady loves. I got the pleasure I'm going to the show I was there for both nights that was the most memorable time of my teenage years❤
In 1983 Journey came 2 Murfreesboro Tennessee for 2 nights I was actually able to go do both shows it was absolutely phenomenal there is and only will ever be one Steve Perry❤

When I contemplate these beautiful lyrics, I can't help myself from making comparisons to our current pop music in 2020. I'll take romance/poetry over vile/lude any day. Journey has certainly given us songs that have and will continue to stand the test of time. ❤
If you ever saw Steve's interview with Dan Rather from awhile back (it's on RU-vid), he laughed when Rather read a comment from a print critic calling him "shamelessly sentimental." "I'll take it" was Steve's reply. "That's me."

He poured his soul out with such grace dignity and class the way he answered the question about the women in his life he answered he had had the privilege of wonderful women in his life. Such a respectful man chose to keep his daughter and grandchildren private. Could anyone image having this wonderful man sing you to sleep. I'd would listen to It's just the rain over and over any day all day. Like many others love this man for his voice his soul, passion but also his dignity respect and class. ❤
Only Steve can reach my heart with his beautiful voice. There is so much feeling in his music- like this song, you can FEEL the pain. I'm sure others here will say the same thing I am saying because his music is so relatable, but I can mark every major, and even minor aspects of my life by he and Journey's music. Ultimately it's his voice- oh the lyrics are awesome, but who else could sing this song with so much emotion? This song brings me to tears each time I hear it, because I've been here, in this painful, melancholy state. I'm sure many of us have. And now he's back! Just in the nick of time with an album that again hits me right where I am. I lost my beloved, "Most of All", my precious husband last year, and Steve's album "Traces" has helped me get thru the grieving process. God bless him for keeping his promise to Dr. Nash and coming back to us!!

So sorry to read about your loss. Who would have thought that cute rocker we loved in the 80s would offer us comfort through his own loss. Like he said once, he lives in the same world we do and pretty soon life finds out where you live.

I agree! Arnel is a very good singer but, he tries to sound like Steve (when singing Journey songs) and I don't care for that sound. In my opinion, If you ever watched the CMT Crossroads with Rascal Flatts & Journey, Arnel sounds way better when not trying to sing/sound like Steve.
Because of that kind of love for music given by my mama I just did a sing along to one of my favorite musician beautiful song it's just the rain like I said can be imitated but never replaced ❤❤❤

Steve is such an awesome musician. I especially love his ability to come up with the most touching, inspirational songs. For me, it is the lyrics and how much of himself that goes into the words and straight to my heart.

This tribute band "Voyage" is the best tribute band for Journey. Their lead singer & frontman is: HUGO VALENTI ... HE IS EXCELLENT, GREAT VOCALS. He even looks like the fabulous Steve Perry and in the same vocal range. When I see and hear Hugo sing it brings back the memories of the old days in the 70's, 80's when it was the real Journey with Steve Perry in the lead. Those were the best days. "Voyage" in my opinion is the best tribute band to Journey. Journey will never be the real Journey without Steve Perry in the lead !!! ❤❤😊😊
