I think My heart almost burst when I heard Steve Perry put out a new album. Welcome back ! All of it is worth the wait. I can't even pick a favorite. The words, The voice just as enchanting as ever.
I grew up in Hanford, I saw Steve ,at Superior Dairy ,in Hanford I work there when I was a teenager! He was in the next booth, I didn't want to go disturb him,I felt bad because people were kind of around him. Love his music!

He never lost his mind or his voice !! Its a very demanding life when you are that good !! The pressure to equal the album before !! He's a class act !! The new journey singer never felt that Pressure. It was done for him. He did a good job but he will never be the real journey singer !!
There's no erasin' what we've experienced nor why would we? Painful memories? They diminish as we heal. The joyful powerful memories of people who graced and impacted our lives grow stronger! Steve always somehow manages to express life's experiences in a healing way.
This takes me back....when I met my wife in the 7th grade....we went on a double date with and we were sitting in the back seat and we couldn't take our eyes off of each other.....were now married with three kids...were both now in our 40s....she still takes my breath away....thank you Steve for bringing that memory back.

Steve I just have to say I absolutely love the new album! I have been a huge fan of yours since I was a toddler I would go around the house singing lights and Oh Sherrie, those were my two favorite songs when I was little and still are, at the top of my lungs and I was only two years old. I grew up listening to all of your music and I have to say your music has made such an impact on my life and has actually gotten me through a lot of bad times in my life as well as good times! as a matter of fact me and my husband would play Journey songs when I was pregnant with our first daughter, Ashlyn, and anytime she would hear you singing she would start going nuts but when Don't Stop Believin came on and she heard your voice she would start kicking and going even crazier. The day I had her I had her via emergency cesarean section after being in labor with her for 17 hours and having complications arise, and she was actually born to Don't Stop Believing! She is 9 years old today and along with me and my husband absolutely loves the new Album, so does our 3 year old daughter Lexy! We were listening to No erasin' in the car last night and she was just belting it out along with our three year old daughter. I am so happy that you decided to come back to music after all these years, your music has changed my life and I know I'm not the only one. Welcome back Steve! I love this album also. My 2 grandchildren love this album . This is their favorite song.. the youngest wilk be crying and throwing a tantrum i put this song on and instant quiet. She gets excited when she sees my phone cause i put it on for her. Love this man. ❤❤❤❤

While l try not to live too much in the past, there was a time when this song would've been a number one hit on radio. Wisely, lm sure I'm not the only one who no longer looks to pop radio as a gauge for what is considered good music. Thank God Steve is back, sharing his great talent with us again, regardless of where and how we get it to hear it.

Beautiful songs. It's hard for a singer to leave a band with such iconic music and catch that same energy. He has a beautiful palate of music that suits his energetic voice.
