The ponytail, all shined and gelled, short sides, bare chested at the mic with coat tails, all to die for......he was about 45 when he made this video, he's lookin' mighty fine. He is now in his early 70's, and still lookin' mighty fine ! great genetic stock I think (his parents too were both good looking and musically talented).

OMG YES. I’m 60 and grew up with him. That voice is incomparable. It has always melted me-and the long hair-AAAAAAAH!! He is one of a kind. This song-I totally forgot about it, but hearing it again makes me want to jump on him again. 😍😂 He’s like, 74 and I’d still hit it. 😄 Everything about him is sexy. He’ll always be the #1 voice for me.🥰
I do not understand how anyone could ever think there was a better voice. EVER! Smooth, elegant, high notes, name it. Even his breathing sounds like music that blends perfectly. I am so glad I grew up with his music.
One of the very few artists who didn't require auto- tuning. I could listen to him all day. There are never enough words or right words to describe the talent this man has. There will never be another like him.
I always thought Russell Hitchcock from Air Supply was a better singer. Until I listened to Steve's vocal strength. This dude could start strong and stay strong.

You have a little competition here....I'm in love with him too :)) I couldn't get enough of 'When You Love a Woman' video (YouT), but this one tops it....not only are the lyrics fantastic, the vocals stunning, but watching Steve's performance is spell-binding, yep, I 'sayed' 'spell-binding', literally....esp. watching him bare-chested, with that long pony-tail (omg), in the desert with a single mic in the middle of nowhere, in his top coat tails (we all know he loves 'em).....leaves me breathless....from one deep person to another...keep those inspirational moments coming, you have a cadre of fans waiting for your next amazing sound bite 😍🤞😘💕 P.S. Then click on his name and go check the "About" tab: if his channel wasn't created on July 10, 2018 and he doesn't have 204,000 subscribers, he's VERY PROBABLY not the real Steve Perry. If so far you haven't paid him any money, block his address or report his messages as spam so you don't get them in your inbox anymore, so you won't be bothered. If you have any doubts about his identity, there is no point in continuing to reply to him and exposing yourself unnecessarily. If he has presented himself in financial difficulty and you have already sent him money or given him confidential information (payment card number, passwords...), I advise you to keep the proof of your exchanges and to contact your local police: they will be able to take care of you. Don't worry, the real Steve Perry is safe: in addition to the royalties and copyrights on his past works, he gets a percentage of all the revenues Journey has made since he left the band, and this until the end of his life. @@rmmlaurel Yeah, sometimes a fake account is deleted after reports, and the impersonator reposts a comment with another fake account. Sometimes, he even replies to the same comment with two different accounts a few days apart...

The legend is timeless! His voice just doesn't quit, he's still totally got it in the drop dead gorgeous category too~ Love the length of his hair! Looks like a mix of Native and Italian, Hell Yeah!

Beautiful. Steve Perry is beautiful, inside and out and that hair and voice. Wowza. Still love him...40+yrs and going strong. The only disappointment with this song is when it ended. I really wanted it to last longer. My favorite. Am I alone in this?
Too many oeople like him. I dont really like this song to be honest. His look yes. The breaks in the song, with the other tempo could have been edited out. Then I would probably like the song better

Steve expresses so many emotions in his voice. When he sings live it's always better than the recordings. He is the best soft rock vocalist of all time.

I remember when I first heard this song. I thought it was Journey and Steve Perry had gotten back with the band. Found the album and realized it was all Steve Perry. Just goes to show, Steve Perry made the Journey sound. Such an awesome and strong sound. You simply can't substitute talent and sound of that legendary level. There will never be a Journey without him. God Bless Steve Perry.
Perry knocks it out of the ballpark with this performance. Lyrics, rundown shack, out in the middle of a barren desert, all reflecting the bitterness of this girl's circumstances, but she's blinded by all the bling around her. His performance reflects conflicting circumstances in the story....love his hair this way, short sides, glossy, gelled back, ponytail, so sexy. He can save me any day, or even better, every day
Was lucky enough to catch him solo on the Strange Medicine tour. OMG, will never forget that night. What a great, great GREAT concert - when it was over and we were leaving total strangers were smiling at each other and just shaking our heads - because we were all so drained. There was nothing to say, it was so good. OMG. Steve Perry 4ever!
He has a gift of angel's singing...the choir from heaven that moves people..moves your soul...I feel it every time I hear him sing a song.....this is one of HIS best songs
@@lucindaedwards1794 He "had" a gift of angels. Age and father time has caught up with him. As hard as that is to take, it's true. Having said that, Traces has some likeable songs and Steve's lowered voice is a nice change.
Was lucky enough to see a Strange Medicine Perry solo show and OMG. Never left a show so happy and wrung out. Total strangers were looking at each other and smiling when we left and just shaking our heads in disbelief at the MAGIC. Pretty sure Steve Perry is a celestial on Earth by some beautiful cosmic accident.
Steve's voice just SOARS!! In fact, everything in this beautiful, melodic piece of music soars from the guitar solo and backing vocals to the chord progressions. Love this song!

I was actually referring to someone who pretended to be Steve Perry and spammed under a lot of female profiles including yours a message like : "Thanks for the moral support, you were drawn for a chat with me, since when have you been a fan ?" with a fraudulent email address. He has since deleted his account (hence the disappearance of the comment)... to recreate another one under the name of "Stephen Perry". Scammers never stop, unfortunately. :-(
