Thanks for stopping by everyone! I made this a few years ago just for fun, I never tried to promote it or anything as I'm not really much of a youtuber as you can probably tell by my editing skills. After the game I found the Raible highlights online so I downloaded them and tried to sync them with the plays. I'm pretty amazed it's got so many views. RU-vid had it blocked on copyright grounds about 15 minutes after I put it up then around a year later I started getting emails about comments it was getting so I guess they changed their minds! Thanks to everyone for all the comments and GO HAWKS!!!!
ThatOneDev : A lot of people don’t know that Steve Raible is a former Seahawks wide-receiver. He played with Jim Zorn, Steve Largent, Sherman Smith, David Sims, Michael Jackson, and Dan Dornink.
I'm a Ravens fan first (Born in Baltimore) But I've lived in Seattle for the last 20 years. The Seahawks will always be my 2nd team. I remember going to a SB party to watch this game and the passion from the Seahawks fans was awesome.
I'm also in Baltimore, so Ravens first. However, the Seahawks' colors attracted me to them about 7 years ago so their my NFC team. I would love to see my two teams together in the superbowl.
@@wetback1 yeah, I'm starting to worry about them, barely winning against "ok" teams. Then losing to the Cardinals. They got Lynch back but he might be rusty.
MagicMoocher : Looks like the Ravens might punish someone poor team like that in this year’s Super Bowl. They demolished the Rams that way. 🤷🏽♂️ We will see. I’m picking the Ravens and the Saints to go to Super Bowl 54, with the Saints winning it all.
I like how he tosses the ball aside after he scores and Zach Miller runs over and gets it for him. That's a good teammate right there. You're gonna wanna keep that ball for the mantle Jermaine!
@@astreastar- the TE on the Besrs that was a different Zach Miller than the one who played for Oakland and Seattle. The Zach Miller for the Seahawks retired in 2015 after ankle surgury.
@@buckfuttler2877 a bum? The Panthers we're 15-1 and can was league MVP that year . Win back to back and maybe the Seahawks would be in the conversation of all time great teams...
@@JT-gg6et whats he done since? He couldn't be bothered to dive on a football in the super bowl. Hes 100% a bum. Also the 2013 seahawks are regarded as a top 15-20 team all time. And voted number 1 team from 10-19 by nfl network.
I'm a Broncos fan, and that was NOT a fun day lol... But the Seattle faithful really deserved it, and this is kind of fun to listen to lol- that is some pinch-me-I-must-be-dreaming level elation.
No hard feelings bro! Thanks for stopping by. I was glad to see Manning get one for you guys before he retired. Steve Raible was a WR for the Seahawks in the 70's. His career was cut short due to injury and he stayed in Seattle as a sports and newscaster. He really loves the team and absolutely flips out during his broadcasts. He's really fun to listen to.
Dave Logan (also WR) is the long time Broncos radio guy- spent most of his career with the Browns, but finished in Denver and also went to CU. and this definitely reminds me of Super Bowl 32- not the whole game obviously lol, but when Mobley knocked down Favre's 4th down pass, Logan went apeshit (and he's generally pretty collected lol). Tis all in good fun. Just remember, the Seahawks have one-third the Super Bowl experience of the Broncos. A third as many wins, and a third as many losses haha.
@@nardoumizaki3086 The Panthers ran into the same trap in SB 50 that the Broncos did in SB 48- Top ranked offense with MVP QB vs top ranked Defense … At least the Broncos learned something from that drubbing 😆
You’re a saint. Best day of my life. My roommate (lifetime Seattle resident exempt a couple years in Alaska when I knew him) was in tears. He was still nervous with a 36-0 lead 🤣
Loved every moment of that Game 😊 I always listen to Steve call the game on the radio while watching it on my 70 inch flat screen with the tv commentators muted, Go Hawks!!! And keep up the great work Rable
Welker, Demaryus thomas, and vernon davis wake up in cold sweats in the middle of the night, muttering, "No LOB, ...NO! dont do me like that! NOOOOO!" ...man, i love this video so much!
Great day in Seattle history, complete annihilation! Loved every minute of it! Steve looses his mind during plays and gets really into it! So awesome! GO HAWKS!!
Love the energy and excitement SR puts into calling the games for his former team mates...Toouucchh Doooowwwnn SeeaaHaawkkss...!! Here in the 206 since 1953..Expecting to watch the Seahawks in the SB 2020!! West Seattle / Alki fans.
We’ve been spoiled with amazing play-by-play announcers for decades: Dave Niehaus (RIP), Kevin Calabro, and Steve Raible, just to name a few. I’m even slowly coming around on Dave Sims, but it’s still a work-in-progress.
The first Super Bowl I remember watching in full. I only remembered the previous year because half the Superdome lights went out, but I was amazed at how one team had the lead the whole game, and didn't allow any points until the end of the 3rd quarter.
My family and I flew from Singapore for this. Possibly the most special week of our lives, as a family. We were such big fans for so many years. I haven't been able to watch the NFL the last couple years though ... I just get upset and disgusted. At least I have this great memory, when football was about football.
I've lost all respect for the NFL. The ineptitude at the Commissioner level is breathtaking, but as long as Jerry Jones owns the Cowboys Goodell won't be canned. If I were king I'd install Condoleezza Rice as Commissioner before the NFL collapses of its own weight -- which I believe is gonna happen in 2020 when the current CBA expires. It's gonna be ugly.
Such an incredible day. Right after Harvin's catch and run, my friend who's only a casual football fan said "wow, he's fast." I said "just wait. He gets to return at least one kick after halftime. You'll see something special." What a day just over and over and over. Pure joy for this lifelong Hawks fan.
The crazy things about this game we scored in the first 12 seconds on the first play of the game and 12 seconds of the first play of the 3rd quarter! 12'$ and did you notice when Beastmode scored that sec td it was 12 mins on the clock !!! and from the time Smith intercepted that ball until he miss the goal post dunk was 12 seconds !!12'$...
kearse has got to be the most underrated seahawk receiver of all time, during his time with seattle, if there was a highlight play by a receiver, it more than likely was him. he could never put up big numbers but the dude made some incredible catches
My buddies and I rode the bus down to Pioneer Square that night, drunk off our asses. High fiveing anyone we saw on the street. It was a giant party. It was awesome.
Hell yeah, that's why I have to leap in and bitchslap anyone who says all he did was return that kick. He was straight fire too, that's why the Saints tried so hard to (and did:() knock him out of the playoff game three weeks earlier, they knew
I had a projector that produced an 11 foot picture to watch this game. Had, probably, 30 folks at our house watching it (yes, it was a big house). When we won the game, my friends were elated and celebrated until past midnight despite having to go to work the next day for many of them. They were so very happy. Then the next year they were all back to watch us win again. Of course we know that we didn't. But what happened was, I thought, pretty hilarious. The folks were all pissed off because we didn't run Lynch for the touchdown. I mean they were really mad. When the game was over, they all pretty much cleared out in about 10 minutes. Unlike the previous year I got minimal help with clean-up and everybody just stormed out. It was astonishing the rapidity with which they exited.
not sure about this year, but next year i think we will be back playing for the Lombardi again! we just need to shore up the defense. to many leaks still lol. but what a fun year so far! big game tonight!go hawks! viking are gonna be tougher than nails though i have a feeling!
@@buckfuttler2877 we're young like we were back in 2012. I really feel like if we get a few pieces and keep this energy going we will be a force to be reckoned with
Damn i wish we had another Percy Harvin type on our team (minus the locker room stuff), the guy was insane. I wonder if our offense is going to start looking like this with the jets sweeps now that we have Waldron
