I never get tired of watching this super bowl game . The Seahawks magic was awesome, from beginning to end ......There , I said it again for him ! Winning the biggest game in football is a memory fans don't forget ! Especially when it's the first ! Go hawks and good luck to the next coach, thanks Pete for the excitement you brought here !
love how when Kearse scored his TD number 86 went and grabbed the ball Kearse tossed away and gave it right back to him to make sure he keeps that thing. a memory he’ll hold forever
Man you know, ya see the final score and know it was obviously a blow out, but it's easy to forget just how much of an all out beating it was. Denver just couldnt do ANYTHING on offense, defense, or special teams
back in the 70s/80s & even 90s there were less close games. Peak NFL was 2000s to 2015, that 15 year stretch was golden Best NFL Regular seasons & Super Bowls
I remember watching this live and being stunned by the blowout. I've watched since the Giants/Patriots Super Bowl in 2012 and don't remember a blowout like this before or since other than 28-3 before the Falcons blew it.
A lot of owners don’t really deserve to hold the Lombardi, but Paul Allen does. Dude who just made it, and saved the Seattle team in football. Wasn’t about winning thing or husky but preserving a Seattle Culturally identity.
I agree 1,000,000 percent. You’re absolutely right. 💫✨Rest in Peace Mr. Allen, and THANK YOU for everything you did for Seattle sports, and the entire city. 🙏 🤙🏈💙💚
Paul Allen's ownership drastically changed the Seahawks fortunes. They went from mediocre and middle of the road to winning the NFC West almost every year and three Super Bowl appearances. I been a faithful Seahawks fan since '96 and I am so glad that they won a Super Bowl
@@crusher9165 I don’t care if he was. I was happy that all the media sports pundits were embarrassed that day and he got humiliated. Check your grammar.
@@crusher9165 Dude the Broncos weren't a "good" team, they were the best offense in NFL HISTORY. And then they laid an egg in the biggest game. That's clownish.
I remember watching this live on TV. I'm was at a coworkers home and partying that night. All 20+ people wearing Broncos jerseys and only one Seahawks fan, me. That was a nightmare evening, but a huge smile was on mines.
As a Denver fan, I will never forget right after seeing the ball snap over Manning’s head, feeling that this game was gonna go horribly wrong for Denver. This was just something else!
It's such a shame that the Seahawks are remembered only for their gaffe the following year. This is the most dominant performance by a team in the Super Bowl in the 21st century. That Russ-led offense and the legion of boom were something else.
Tbh I feel like this game was so lopsided for the Hawks/cursed for the Broncos from the first very first snap, we never got to see a real contest between them. This was the best offense on their worst day lol
@@agreb25tbh myself as a Seahawks fan I was concerned during halftime. It had gone too easily for them the first half and that was the great Peyton Manning leading the Denver offense. However after the Seahawks touchdown on the second half kickoff I knew no team was going to beat them on this day.
first snap of the game was a fckn safety. i was a peyton manning fan not a broncos fan, and the first quarter just shattered my hopes of peyton winning.
I’m a Pats fan and I’m enjoying this. Watching Manning and the Broncos getting beaten up is a joyful sight. Seeing the Seahawks humiliate Manning only for us to crush the Hawks the following year.
Crush lol. They barely won, and that was after Seattle's starting nickel was taken out and their best pass rusher was forced out for concussion protocol while a concussed Edelman was allowed to stay in the game. It took 2 key players leaving and a bad goaline play that basically gave NE the game
I am now convinced there is something to the Mandela Effect. I DISTINCTLY remember Pete's gatorade bath being orange. There were all sorts of memes about how it was the best coverage by anything orange all night.
I Love Russell Wilson and Marshawn Lynch ( Who was mostly a non factor in this game and didn’t have to do much of anything. 🙄) but Legion of Boom and Percy Harvin’s play pretty much won this game! 🤩 Doug Baldwin and Jerome Kearse are straight up Stud receivers though! 😎
Could’ve been back to back have it not been for that controversial pass play when you have the best rushing attack in the 1 yard line vs New England.🤦🏽🤦🏽🤦🏽🤦🏽.
12 Lady here should have known The Seahawks would win. When 12 Seconds into The Game they get a Safety. Yes as a 12 Fan it was the Happiest day ( February 12, 2014 ) of our lives considering all The So-called experts picked The Heavy Favorite Denver Broncos to Win and didn't give The Seattle Seahawks a Chance...Go Hawks !
It's hard to win back to back Superbowls. So many things have to go right just win one. That being said, Brady is Brady and we should have run the ball.
poor Welker. leaves the Patriots, joins Denver, loses the Super Bowl. Patriots win the Super Bowl the next year. he leaves Denver, Denver wins the Super Bowl
