I wish there was more of these video's of The Workshop. I'm a simple American who loves this show from first sight. I have never been pulled into a show quite like this one. Keep up the good work over there across the pond.

I wish they'd show Steve winding a clock main spring down. Worries me that someone watching could decide to have a go at repairing a clock blissfully unaware of what could happen.

I love Repair Shop in general and Steve once again does a great job here. I have a question for him though. He uses some magic fluid to clean the brass clock parts. I play harmonica and the reeds are made of brass. I wonder if the fluid would clean the reeds up? Sometimes they get a little corrosion on them as well as dried saliva and dirt. What is the exact clock makers cleaning fluid which he uses as the cogs always look sparking clean after he soaks them in it?

Really enjoy the show. Too bad I'm in the U.S. I have a 50's Parisian bronze clock thay needs extensive repair. No one here left with enough experience to do it.

What does Steve use to clean the brass?

I am pretty sure it is soap or some special metal cleaner.
