@@syaredzaashrafi1101 A judge ruled that Steve Ross would Not inherit any of his father Bob Ross estate even though it was in his will. Instead the judge ruled in favor of the business agreement. I'm happy to see the Steve Ross is doing well and prospering.
In the end it was always about man and canvas and nothing else....the money went to the kind of people who'll never understand what true art means. They'll have a nice, pleasant, cold empty life off the back of Bob's immense legacy.I love that Steve stands at the canvas on his own terms like his father did.Rip Bob.Good Luck Steve.
I wish everyone would support Steve to honor his father. His father was so proud of him. I remember seeing him on TV as a teen after school. I thought it must be really cool to have a dad like Bob.
@@DistortionRequiredthere’s a deeper reason behind it. When Bob Ross died, he intended for his paintings and money to go to his son, but the Kowalski family ended up seizing any of Steve’s rights to Bob Ross’ name or likeness since they apparently owned a majority share in the business. 2 days after Bob Ross died, Steve was called by the family to inform him that he was not allowed to use his fathers name for any business ventures that involved art. So imagine your father dies, and immediately being told all his art is being taken away from you, and you can’t honour your father in the way he would have wanted. There’s a documentary on Netflix about it.
Mr. Steve Ross, I don't know if you'll ever read this, however, I just saw the documentary on Netflix. I'm appalled at what was done to you although not surprised. I was taught in lawschool that sort of injustice happens often in the realm of probate law. It even happened to me. I will tell you this, those who have taken from you have cursed themselves. To go against your father's testimentary intent is horrible. Take comfort that what goes around comes around. I enjoyed your father's programs. I know in my heart and I hope you may come to realize he would not want you troubled. God knows the truth and that's what matters. This world is temporary, money is temporary. God bless you. I hope to take a painting class taught by you. You are truly your father's true treasure, his pride and joy.
I completely agree with you. The Netflix documentary made me so angry. I am new to the Bob Ross phenomenon, but I watch him obsessively. He was an amazing human being and incredibly inspirational. No matter who is benefitting from his name today, Bob Ross was the real talent and the only reason for all the success. They may have won financially, but they are truly hated and despised by all his fans! I would love to see Steve Ross on his own channel. He would get a lot of support, especially now, that the truth has been revealed. All his father's fans would be loyal to him too. I love your comments!!
AMEN AMEN AMEN! I GREW UP WATCHING BOB ROSS EVERY WEEKEND GLUED TO THE TV WATCHING HIM DO HIS MAGIC. MAY BOB CONTINUES TO REST IN HEAVENLY PEACE. HE WAS A TRUE TALENTED PAINTER OF ALL TIME😢❤🕊
Steve Ross? Awesome! I enjoy watching him paint as much as his father. I would love to see a Steve Ross channel. His father said he painted amazing mountains and he was right.
It is FANTASTIC that you've partnered with Steve Ross, Bram! I literally cannot think of a higher reference in the Wet-On-Wet painting scene than that. You have in effect become one-half of the next generation of Bob's heritage and painting style. Which is just flipping incredible for you!
This warms my heart ! What an honour it is to see Steve Ross I watched a video a while ago when he was painting on RU-vid with his lovely talented Dad ,so pleased to see Steve again and looking so well and just like his Dad teaching painting that he adored, thank you BRAM so much you have lifted my spirits god bless you all .
Bram, I watch you a lot. I started painting three years ago at 70, when I discovered Bob, and subsequently Steve, you, Jason, and Wild. Now, it seems I’ve known all y’all for many years, and Steve since he was just a kid. I am so looking forward to the seminar this October in Texas so I can actually meet you and Steve. To you guys it’s mostly just a business trip, but to your old and sentimental students it’s going to be so much more. Sadly, I’m the guy who had so much trouble signing up on my computer, so I had to settle for only 2 days. But they are going to be two very special days in the life of this old man.
Wow, how wonderful to discover Bob Ross's son Steve Ross.. I started off my self-learning journey in painting way back a few years by discovering Bob Ross on RU-vid.. this brought back happy memories.. although I have developed my own style over time, but I still love watching the Bob Ross style.. Thank you so much for sharing this.. a big "like" from me, and of course, I have subscribed..
Steve is a phenomenal painter and instructor. Always enjoyed it as a kid when he'd appear with his father to do his own courses. Learned a whole lot from the two of them. 🙏🏻👍🏻🎨🖌️
Glad to know that Steve continue to paint. It’s 2024, I got curious about Bob Ross, bec of Young Sheldon, he was watching him. When I look through Netflix the I found the movie about what happened to his dad. Steve got everything the dad does. He is as good as his dad❤He should have a show too. That would be nice.
Watch Bob Ross painting everyday on Bob Ross Channel 1069. I enjoy it it’s so peaceful watching him paint and also enjoy Steve Ross painting there sometimes.
HELLO!! You should really let Steve know if you have a way that he should make a RU-vid and do content! I’m sure so many would love to watch and support him after knowing what happened with the rights to his father’s name. And also would love to see more of him painting ❤❤❤
Watching the documentary .I no who I prefer to spend my time and day with .funny how thing's go around .I'm a great believer in karma .I really hope thing's get better n better for Steve ❤️
I just watched the documentary. I’m not going to buy or watch anything from current bob ross merchandise and series. I’m searching and looking for more Steve Ross material. I’ll support him. I hate people who steal and the kwolskis stole his dad’s name and gave him nothing. So absolutely won’t be supporting that. So steve if you’re reading this, please put your own material out there. You’ll have supporters like me.
So wonderful to see that Steve was willing to teach the wet-on-wet technique. There is a Bob Ross Weekend Marathon that someone puts on RU-vid with Live Chat and they don’t like Steve being brought in the chats. People still making money off from his Dad and he gets nothing is very terribly sad, in my opinion. I do not paint, but like watching the show and breaks my heart that Steve got Screwed over on receiving any monies from his Dad’s Legacy.😢
yea those people that took over aka STOLD from Bob for his son is sickening ! the kowalski’s 🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍 seriously how selfish and mean, can these people be to Steve after what they did to his dad ! I’m glad they made the movie !!
Crazy question is the pallet that he’s using a really old one? Because I have a couple of the newer ones and the plexiglass is really thin and it would never make the same kind of sound that his is making- plus his looks much more rigid. Can anyone confirm this?
If you have a Glass or window shop in your town you can take this thin version of Bob’s large pallet, using it for the pattern and have them cut one out of thick acrylic, this is what I am going to do once mine shows up this next week.
Hi Bram- I’ve now done 3 of your paintings with you. I’d love to show you my results (although they’re not NEARLY as good as yours. I’m not in Insta or Facebook (too old for all the political ads 😂). I do have Twitter tho! You’re not on Twitter by chance are you? Or do you have a website I could send them to? Like I said not nearly as good. But your videos have inspired me and I thought you might wanna see them 😊
