Quel bonheur, merci Steve Rothery, moi c'est dans Gendel, c'est fabuleux cette fluide élégances de notes qui scintillent de ta guitare, embélissent cette belle melodie
This vid contains the 1st solo of TSE only. For me the 2nd solo of TSE is the best Steve's best solo. But, this still tears when listening to all these great solo's!!
I know only two guitarists which guitars can speak like humans do: David Gilmour and Steve Rothary. Their guitars tell stories, run dialogs, discuss smth, laught, cry, play scene as theater actors using human intonations and human feelings. Other greate guitarist can show a lot from natural and even supernatural worlds: life, deth, storm, still, water, fire, war and peace, love and fier. But David and Steve can show how guitar speaks humans language.
There's no doubt in my mind, these are very much some of the best solos ever. But I definitely have to give credit to the supporting band. Also for the This Strange Engine solo, you should have chosen the next section. Better solo there in my opinion.
Joe is a different type of player mate. I love some of his stuff too, but I don’t think his solos come across as evocative as Rothery’s. Have you listened to these solos? Works of art.
@@markshalice8544 Nice band play, but no were near the Excellence of Satriani, sorry dude ( as we say in this country ). Joe is the absolute MASTER of electric guitar. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zDfy67my2So.html
@@chesterbaumgart7381 I would agree that Joe is technically superior to Rothery, as he is to Gilmour or Page. But, he’s never created something as iconic or brilliant as the solos in Stairway or Comfortably Numb has he. It’s not just about technical brilliance (there are players out there superior to Joe), it’s about feel and space in a solo and Rothery has that in abundance. Having said that, I love Ten Words and Starry Night, so I’m not that blinkered! Cheers
