You get the throw to wall splat to 112 but the wallsplat off a b+1 high isnt guaranteed so whats broken about it or yall just love crying about nothing???
The splat after 1 1 2 was a Rocket Launcher, dude. And he's talking about the Two Faced throw after the 3 1 1 to finish the wall combo. If you tech roll, you can't avoid the unbreakable grab, and since it got Jin on the side, the grab turned into a side throw, meaning DVJdidn't even get the chance to guess the Two Faced. Pretty much checkmate once he Tech Rolled.
“Standing there” first hit was counter, after the combo he got up got grabbed and pushed against the wall which leaves him negative and open for another crush counter, into wall splats which also leave him negative, into a grab that cant be blocked or broken, learn the fundamentals
@@jayduhcoolest1813 Hmm i dunno what got you mad there somehow, but all he was saying is that the opposing player simply decided to techroll all of his wakeups and then proceeded to make all the wrong decisions, Techrolled, took a grab, into a 1 1 2, then proceed to duck and get wall splatted by a qcf 1 heat starter, then tech rolled again like it was a good idea the first 2 times and ate the tech trap, like he op said, king just stood there each time and ate all of those.
@@Tbowskies literally anything that's able to get guaranteed damage on calling out an opponents tech roll is op on paper lol. Yes it can be avoided but there's not much counterplay besides guessing grounded hit or tech trap there
@@decayingtrust6321most steve players I see are people with low rank and high tekken prowess. they're just here to enjoy the game, not to rank up fast
@@joinmeng people who have abnormally high Tekken prowess for their rank have other characters that are at higher ranks. You must see it consistently on Steve players because they feel like they can’t commit just to Steve. They are a lot better at the game than their expected rank and Steve in Tekken 8 just makes every fight a boss fight lol
Check out my videos. I have some tips and guides. Also, You don't really need an arcade stick to play good. I play on Xbox Controller in my PC. Just practice and you'll get there
I often times play a game when this happens and more often than not it makes me laugh so hard. The game's called: "How long can my opponent keep me in the air?" You'd think I'm pissy, while I'm both amazed and entertained 😂
If you’re facing someone green enough to duck STEVE, everything is OP. If you’re facing someone green enough to duck Steve against a fukn wall… then yeah, of course they’re not going to know to duck the tech. Rule 1 of Tekken is to rarely if ever duck against the wall. Rule 1 of fighting Steve is to never duck him, period. This dude did both of those things. Purple ranks really are the new green ranks.
It's Steve's heat special move. You see the heat bar below his HP? That dash consumes like 1/5 of it. I think it's F3+4, idk the input since I didn't play Steve, you might want to check his movelist tho
He's aggressively mid in this game. ws2 no longer counter hit launches, ext duck f2 no longer guard breaks, b2 (his previously fastest launcher) no longer launches, b1 is now i13 instead of i12, df2 no longer knocks down on ch, you can't even crouch cancel his new stance, and power crush beats all of it's options. a bunch of his old and new moves also FORCE him into the new stance. Steve is kinda poopoo in t8. only thing that makes him not dumpster tier is that his combo execution has maybe gotten easier without the shiro combo.
I literally just started using it myself. It's unbreakable to add to the punishment. Well the hug is at least. But it definitely catches people off guard.
