Someone needs to dig out a quote by Steve Schmidt, sometime in 2017-2018, where he said, on a talking-head program: "I would no more have a serious policy discussion with Trump than I would ask a dog to do my tax return", or words like that. I heard it once, have never been able to re-locate the quote. It was one for the ages.

Steve Schmidt is a high moral value Republican, the last few standing. He is easy to like because he stands for the fiber of morality and ethics and not by party. He is calm, authentic, and shares deep troubled views with us. If we as ppl, want stable nuggets of good information, Steve is your guy.

Right, that's why today's right-winger feels that a liberal Democrat is a Marxist. They are so far to the right that by contrast anyone to the left is viewed as very extreme. They have no idea of the difference between 'relative position' and 'absolute position' on the political spectrum. I realize that trying to establish absolutes is riddled with subjectivity, but you have to at least try or acknowledge that 'relative' vs 'absolute' exists.

Just watching Trump on a day to day basis, and see he's just not fit to hold this position. I didn't take his campaign seriously, off the notion that I never dreamed the American people could put him in the oval. He knows jack squat about policy,but even worse,has zero desire to learn. Watching his round table meeting about the dreamers, it couldn't be clearer, he has no idea what hes talking about. Look, this guy is a joke, and our country suffers every day, he remains in the oval. I really don't like our VP, but gezz, at least he could understand policy and ideas. Give Trump credit for being able to do the unthinkable, and convince the country to give him a shot, but times up, get him outta there.Trump may rue the day he ran. Obstructing Justice, as in *obstructing* the ongoing investigation at the time, is *itself* a crime, genius! Even if the Trump Crime Family *hadn't* been involved in the Russian cyber-attack, Dishonest Donald's subsequent actions to obstruct the FBI investigation *into* the Russian attacks (and/or the investigation of Flynn) constitutes the *crime* of "Obstruction of Justice". Now ask yourself: what *sane* person would have risked all that to stop an investigation into a crime he "knew" he was *innocent* of?? Not to mention that this "president" has gone on to do *nothing* to protect the country he took an oath to defend, from any *future* repeats of the Russian cyber-attacks! None of this seems to matter to Trumpfans who *claim* they care about the security of the USA?? Thank god Mueller is more patriotic than *all* the other Republicans put together!

I can't believe my two favorite TV personalities are republicans, Steve Schmidt, and Nicole Wallace. I don't know if there politics have changed, but they seem to see what the modern republican party has become, and there NOT shy about pointing it out!
