Steve Vai - Tokyo 97 - There's a fire in the house Band: Guitar, Vocals: Steve Vai Guitar, Vocals and Keys: Mike Keneally Bass, Vocals: Philip Bynoe Drums: Mike Mangini
@Sadyouarex I think he means the band itself. Steve Vai has had a lot of different players backing him up over the years. When was the last time Vai played with these guys? It's the same band he has on the 1996 G3 album also.
Yeah, you're a type of guy that would rather listen Hendrix because "he created electric" rather than actually listening someone proficient like Vai, Petrucci, Friedman and Govan
Phil Bynoe used to play with Charlie Farren. I know Charlie. Phil, Charlie, Robin (Charlie's sister), Dave Hull, and others sang Happy Birthday to me backstage at a show once. It was amazing...cake, sandwiches, beer...I love them all.
I’m not sure they were mistakes. It sounds like the guitar’s tuning went off key. It could happen with intensive playing and stretching of the strings.
