I liked his band back there. To be honest I loved all of his band, they all seemed awesome and the new one is mind-blowing. It's like whole new level.

@Sadyouarex I think he means the band itself. Steve Vai has had a lot of different players backing him up over the years. When was the last time Vai played with these guys? It's the same band he has on the 1996 G3 album also.

Phil Bynoe used to play with Charlie Farren. I know Charlie. Phil, Charlie, Robin (Charlie's sister), Dave Hull, and others sang Happy Birthday to me backstage at a show once. It was amazing...cake, sandwiches, beer...I love them all.
