The first song I heard in my first came to the United States. God bless the United States, the South and its music. Always greet with affection from Italy. I would like to go back to 1982.....

This was the first Steve Warner song I ever heard. I was going out to Elpaso, Texas one Christmas and heard it on a country station at that way. That was in 1981, I think. It’s been many years, but in 1993 I got to meet Steve and actually do some security work for him. He is an incredible human being! I don’t know how long you’ve been in the United States, but welcome!

@@Texanrider76465 Have been many times for both business and pleasure. I have always loved your country. I especially love the southern states. I hate megacities. I love the warmth of the people who have always worked to make me feel at home. I will never get tired of repeating it. In the south I have always felt not like a tourist but like a guest.

How does he have so many great songs that are kinda forgotten, even though he is still a big name? Steve Wariner was great, right outta the box. He didn't need to warm up or evolve: the man was already adding sophisticated Jazz aspects into true Country on his early stuff. This is great

He came onto the scene in the early 80's and people loved him right away. He had songs and albums the clicked well with everybody. He has his own style and he brought so much to country in the 80s. I think he could have easily been a pop singer and more people would have heard his music. During the c.d era I would be listening to his music quite a bit and so many people would ask me who that was singing and they would tell me they love his voice. Steve Wariner is one of the greats.

@@billlevins7460 As a guitarist, the man is a beast of a player: Jazz, country, pop, etc. Amazing
