OMG, that's so weird, I've been obsessed with this song for three days because I ran across it after not hearing it for maybe 30 years or so and I remember when I heard it the first time when I was 12 and I also felt heartbroken for him
The most underrated singer, musician and songwriter LOVE him!!!! Absolutely love this Steve Warner is such a genuine performer and human being without pretenses very rare to find 👄💋
Watched him and his band do this song at Finky's bar in Daytona Beach back in 1976 right after this single was released. It described exactly what I was feeling after being dumped. He was a fantastic singer!
Took my young son to Silver Springs,..FLA,..not knowing,,.Imagine the luck when my 2 year old sons first concert was Steve Wariner ,,..I came across this because I was looking into some 80"s to 90"s chart toppers,..looking for songs to practice on the acoustic,..It was such a great era,,..wiith Steve,,Earl Thomas Conley ,..Eddie Raven ,..Alabama,,and after looking up Steve Wariner ,,I see Leroy Parnell,,..this 25 year span ,,is probably the best ,..I did not even mention George S. Clint B.,,.the early ,..influence,..Merle,,Jerry J.,,Waylon ,..this era has a list that goes on and on ,..Imagine driving late at night ,,crossing through states ,,getting to your next designation ,,and "All roads leads to you" comes on,,.this was a great time in country my friends,,..Later,...JSD,..USMC
Has to be my absolute favorite Wariner song, and cool he got back with some of the old crew including Allyn Love on steel. Wish sound quality was better on the video but still awesome.
