Steve's classic remix of Valerie from '87 is the first version I heard, and it's quite jarring going back and listening to his original. Pleased he remixed it and that it got the attention it deserved. It's deceivingly more complex in it's harmonic content than what I first thought and so it was quite a challenge to play along but it was a very enjoyable experience to Leppardize.
'Leppardized' is my way of adding interesting guitar parts to a song that has little to no guitar in it, in an attempt to make it more like the Hysteria era of Def Leppard. Although really it is just an excuse for me to play over pop. :)
