Side effects I got from the vaccine: An overwhelming appreciation for modern medicine, an increased desire to thank a scientist and swelling of my heart with love for all the medical staff looking after us all.
@@SewardWriter yeah, same. My arm got really warm, there was a lump, I felt like crap for a few days, but everyone I know in person got Covid and I’ve never had it. Same with the flu, polio, you know, just all the things brilliant scientists work on to make people live longer healthier lives. APPRECIATE YOUR VACCINES PEOPLE!!!
Me being a medical assistant and watching this makes me want to meet this guy and have a few beers so we can laugh and talk shit about how dumb some people are. He seems like such a great guy.
@@Hiya1212 she had a seizure and a major stroke she never woke up from. It seemed to me the hospital was trying to find any way to connect that she had been exposed to covid and that might have been a cause. But I know that the virus had nothing to do with it.
i don’t understand the „it pushes the wax deeper in“ because it doesn’t. my ears are big, i could fit three q tips in there. i swipe the walls and get the wax out 🤷🏼♀️
@@antlerwolf6444 You don't need to clean your ears, earwax is supposed to help you, but if you have too much of it in your ear don't take it out with a q-tip, leave it alone, and if you have a whole lot of it in your ear go to the hospital so they can take it out properly.
@@hotsaucegulper WebMD disagrees. They literally make over the counter ear wax removal kits. Definitely dont just "leave it alone" because you'll eventually start to lose hearing from build up on the inside like I did.
As someone who's had a ruptured eardrum (for almost 2 years), I'ma have to agree with the qtip thing. You NEVER wanna experience ear problems, it sucks so much. Just don't put stuff in your ear holes!!
I don't know. I disagree. I've been cleaning my ears with a q tip all my life and never had issues. As a matter of fact, my ears were always cleaned according to doctors cause I cleaned with q tips
@@TG-hp8og I never got clogged ever. I've been doing it since i was 5. All of my doctors have said my ears are fine. If yall are getting ear damage, yall stabbing your ear drum, I'm not touching my ear drum
me coming in with a knife in my back me : i was told to leave it the f alone and dont pull it out the doctors : why didnt you call the ambulance Me : im not paying 50 dollars for a fancy truck with sirens i still have enough blood in me to drive edit : ok 50 dollars might have been a large understatment but i've never had to pay for one so...
@@wyattmaniscalco3090 depends on the state. Lower cost of living states like Arkansas are less expensive than places like New York. But definitely still expensive
@@wyattmaniscalco3090 yeah, I had to get an ambulance and medical helicopter.. plus a plastic surgeon had to close my face.. my bill was around $100,000
Been using q-tips for over 40 years now without incident. I think the key is to do it after every hot shower so it never builds up enough to cause problems. My hearing is perfect and I don’t have gross ears
I chalk it up alongside the "dont drink water from a garden hose" warning. Things that were fine as kids but now the "catered to era" makes it dangerous
The name calling, huge smiles, the bugger then life personality with the cute winks, well all I can say is What E.R. are YOU at?? I really enjoy your humor. Thank you!
“ Flordia we’re not mad at ya! We’re just surprised you’re still alive.” i went to Florida a while ago and nobody was wearing a mask 😂 Edit: HOLY SH!T THATS A LOT OF LIKES-
Nope. If I stop using them my ears get clocked with ear wax. I have not seen any problems over the years. Only if I do not use them. Lots of medical advice is only "advice", you must see how it works for your unique body. People use Q-tips to their ears, because it works!
Back in the early 2000s my great grandad somehow got his arm chopped of at the elbow by heavy machinery on the farm, so he drove himself to the local medical clinic, with one arm, the stump having several shirts wrapped around it, and carried the other half of his arm with him. They reattached it and he spent like a month in the hospital, then he came home and resumed farm work, doing all the regular stuff like driving equipment, lifting hay bales, and fixing shit, with one arm for six months cause his arm was in a sling.
@@ruckus_six5944 When you take a bath soak your ears in the warm water for a bit, also steam from the shower is good for loosing up wax. Also medication sold specifically for ear wax removal.
I love the fact you still have that kind and caring face as your kindly explaining the true facts about any one of these issues. Love your content stay real. And stay blessed
So, my dad has schizophrenia and he was put in the hospital for it and he was having a procedure where they take your brain fluid to see if he had had a stroke or what happened and he had to stay still for it and he thought that he would forget to stay still so, he asked the hospital staff to restrain him. This shows that they don't always restrain people because they are violent.
I love this guy! I remember the time we brought in a guy with an ingrown toenail in to the ER by ambulance. Seems the taxis would not take his insurance. 2 blocks from the hosp.
Love this channel. Just had an nSTEMI and you totally made me laugh so hard I almost had another one. My nSTEMI didn’t come with a free waxing session...so disappointed. 😭
This guy is too real!! I’m in healthcare as well and he said what a lot of us Healthcare professionals are dying to say😂. OMG. He definitely has no filter. I love it!!!😂
After a career is an emergency medical dispatcher for the fire department (and lots of paramedic friends), I find your videos absolutely hilarious. It’s so hard to find anyone outside the profession that understands ………well you know.
I start hitting like before I watch these videos. I 100% all the time enjoy them and sometimes click to the next video of yours without hitting like. You've never disappointed keep up the good work.
0:33 I had something similar to the last line happen So when I was little I was sick and I also had an ear infection. A doctor came in to look at my ear, andddddd, the tool used to look in my ear pulled out a giant thing of ear wax and I was like “oh, so that was the problem!” And she asked me if my ear still hurt and I told her no, but another doctor came to check, and I was fine to go afterwards! This is one of my favorite stories from when I went to the ER lol, at least I get to share it here!
We do the vast majority of our STEMI patients with radial access. It does make the procedure harder for the doctor, but much easier recovery for the patient. It all depends really. Every centre is different but radial approach really caught on here in ireland in the last few years
My mom just had a PCI (formerly called angioplasty) and 3 stents placed in her Right Coronary Artery. They went in through her right wrist, that surprised me. She's recovering well now after randomly blacking out for 6 years. Her PCP and the cardio. he referred her to completely missed the 95% RCA blockage, along with 85% Right Femural and 50% left renal blockages... small town doctors. It took a sharp ER doc and radiologist to finally get the right dx - and her PCP argued that's not what the images were showing.
This is the second time you mentioned Tracy in another one of your videos you tell her she needs to stop taking days off and get to work. Get it together Tracy! Lol
Eyewash: I had a brand new can of shaving cream and the pressure had it ricochet off my hand into BOTH my eyes. Nothing more fun than manually holding your eyes open into the shower head for 3-5 minutes
Yeah, I learned the hard way to not use them in my ear. I don't know exactly what I hit but I do remember a sharp pain and then a lot of red liquid that's supposed to be on the inside.
The only thing I experienced after getting my covid shots was a slight headache and some pain in my arm muscle, both of which I dealt with via Tylenol.
I've been using Qtips for years and never had an issue. I don't accumulate a lot of wax. The only issue I've had with my ear is when I lived with a friend that had roaches and yes a roach crawled in my ear and yes it's very painful
You're never stopping me from using q-tips deep into my ear canals. Gently. I feel gross without perfectly clean ear canals. Is it safe? No. Is it something i should do ? No. But I'll never stop :p
My two year old poked me in the eye once and scratched my cornea! It was the most painful thing EVER! It was weeping and swollen shut for weeks. It was also excruciatingly painful for weeks. It eventually passed. I am not one to go to the ER for things that don't seem super urgent but this time i think a trip to the ER might have been a smart thing to do!
I use Q-Tips. And the Drs always tell me oh your ears are so clean. I also use a BIC pen cover. That gets my itchy ear feeling so damn good. Lol but yes those two things I always use and have yet to have anything wrong
