I know God disciplines me when I disobey him. I am a Rebel and a sinner full of pride. Humility is not my natural being. I find I have no humility when I Am ungrateful for my salvation Grace and mercy he has for me. God is patient. I find all I need by Grace through Faith in Christ and no other. Makes a way for me always. Always with me. My Redeemer and Loves us all. All Glory. All Power. I am powerless without my LORD. 🙏

All one has to do is to watch the series " Closer to truth" to discover that a person is not able through reason and logic, bring theirself to God. That avenue has a great tendency to steer you farther and farther away from finding God, it sounds good, tries to give us some credit, to nullify the extent that sin holds us, but it does not work.

I like that, man is born a religious moron! :) To make matters worse, he is born perishing and sees the gospel as foolishness.1Co 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

At the same time, the Bible is rife with evidence of those who were not told the gospel of Jesus Christ during their lifetimes and still were saved: Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Job, Noah, Enoch, Elijah, Moses, Daniel, and even John the Baptist who died before the gospel (death, burial, and resurrection of Christ) was known. And the thief on the cross, for that matter, who didn't yet know the resurrection. The Word of God says that knowing of God without being told extends to all men so that we are "without excuse": "that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse." --Romans 1:18-20 Romans 2:12-16 (NASB) "For all who have sinned without the Law will also perish without the Law, and all who have sinned under the Law will be judged by the Law; for it is not the hearers of the Law who are just before God, but the doers of the Law will be justified. For when Gentiles who do not have the Law do instinctively the things of the Law, these, not having the Law, are a law to themselves, in that ******they show the work of the Law written in their hearts*******, their conscience bearing witness and their thoughts alternately accusing or else defending them, on the day when, according to my gospel, God will judge the secrets of men through Christ Jesus." Do we still need to spread the gospel? Absolutely! That's the great commission. We are all called to obey the Word of God. One of the best gifts God has ever given us is integrating us into His plan to advance the Kingdom of God. Are all who "love Jesus" or "know Jesus" saved? No, I wholeheartedly disagree there. But are some who never heard the name of Jesus during their lifetimes saved? Abso-hallelujah-lutely. Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Job, Noah, Enoch, Moses, Elijah, ..... Will this extend to Gentiles, too? Yes, that seems to be exactly what Romans 1 and 2 are saying and Noah, Enoch, Job, Melchizedek, Ruth, Rahab, .... 2 Corinthians 2:14 and 15 tells us that Jesus died for all, not just those who happened to hear His name during their lifetimes. Yes, it also says that only those who believed will be saved, but He didn't die for all unless all could choose to be saved. Our God is full of grace and mercy because He has given every sinful man an opportunity for redemption, an opportunity for salvation. Jesus died for the sins of every single person so that all are "without excuse" when standing before the Creator to face a final judgment.

It says in the Koran that Allah is the supreme deceiver. In Scripture, it says that Satan is the father of lies. This sounds like the same entity. That would mean that Allah is Satan....not Jehovah.

Carnal Christian’s, belly worshippers. I believe he is correct in his preaching. But this also is devastating to me as someone who questions their salvation because of my indwelling sin. I do believe that Christ sacrifice is sufficient. But it raises the question in my heart “ does it apply to me”??? My sinful nature constantly condemns me. I am sin. Not just the sins I actually commit. If our salvation is based on our ability to not sin along with believing on Christ, then who can be saved ???? Where is the line drawn of being saved by Grace through Faith and our surrendering to Lordship salvation?? I constantly pray for Wisdom and for the Holy Spirit to guide my life even if He has to Drag Me! I hate my sinful nature 😩. I hope someone will pray for me also. 🙏

I prayed for wisdom in regards to Tony Evans and wouldn't you know it here I am hearing about him and now I know I was correct in leaving his "sermons" alone.

IMO - I think that most who call themselves "Christian" as well as many Evangelicals do not have an "entire" Christian Worldview.

John teaches one is "born again" without having never even heard the gospel, let alone having believed it- see Ephesians 1:13; Galatians 3: 2. His whole teaching of Calvinism's 9 points-not 5 points called Tulip- are indisputably false from Genesis to Revelation, beginning with their foundational doctrines/points: 1) their definition of Sovereign, which teaches that God created Man with no ability to either follow God's will or run contrary to it- freewill choice with consequences either way. 2) Miticulous Determinism, which teaches that God determines every single thought, word, and action that every single person will think, say, and do, which includes righteous and sinful actions. Jeremiah 7:31 (including 19:5, and 32:35); 1 Samuel 23:1-13- 2 explicit examples of God's breathed words contradicting Calvinism. John is not qualified to be an Elder according to 1Timothy 3 because of his clearly false doctrines called Calvinism- Augustinian Calvinism (where it originated, was brought into the Body of Christ from 412-430 A.D.) and Calvin, who quoted Augustine over 4,000 times in his writings and taught and upheld Augustine's Calvinism.

I can learn a bit more. But at least I know that God is the one who “gives to each one a measure of faith.” And Ephesians 2:19 and Romans 8:32 are both in agreement that faith is a gift, and grace “has been given” unto you. Listen to scriptures such as “He who began a good work in you”…, where it is says that it is “God who wills and to do of his good pleasure.” in us. If he begins the process, and he tells the Galatians “Having begun in the spirit, are you now being perfected (or we would say in modern English SANCTIFIED) by the flesh ? ( by works? By something they have done? ) He even calls it “bewitched” (so belief that we finish Salvation) even though it is God who begins a good work in us is called what? Witchcraft! A lie of the devil or mystery Babylon. We are told to “come out of her, my people, and God will accept you as a Father. Basically, you cannot have true peace while believing that you must do something to be saved. “You shall call his name “Yeshuah” (modern day Jesus) for HE shall save his people from their sin.” Remember too, our condition before we were born from above is what? Lost (not knowing our way) “ALL we like sheep have gone astray, each to his own way (not God's way) and God has laid on HIM the iniquities of US ALL.” We were blinded “by the God of this world.” (Can’t even see our way to know which way is home to Father God.) “There is none who seek after God)” even though God tells us to “Seek the Lord while he may be found.” And he “stands at the door and knocks.” And if anyone opens the door.” Etc. Is God basically telling us we won’t even open the door of our heart unless he cleanses us first? Opens our blind eyes so we can see? Etc. And yet he tells us “not of works (any righteous deed we would DO is a work) lest any man should boast.” Which is mentioned Ephesians 2:8-9. Also, “Believe on the Lord…and you SHALL be saved.” Is Peter's understanding at the time. The Book of Acts itself is a transitional book, taking the law keeping (actually law-breaking) Jews into the kingdom. So, there is a huge jump in theology of Peter up until Paul’s revelation that “Jew and Gentile are both justified by faith.” .. and that by grace (a free gift of God) are we saved through ( or by means of coming to) faith, which Christ also gives.. “It has been granted unto you, on behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but to suffer…” (Granted : given as a grace gift) He “gives to each one a measure of faith.” All this is to say that until the spirit draws us, we CANNOT come to Christ, which scriptures indicate. We are under God’s wrath and Love. “It is God’s kindness that leads us to metanoia ( often translated as repentance).” Imagine our own kindness getting us to change our mind, all because WE wanted to be kind to ourselves... so that we would not wind up in torment. We were also “dead in trespasses and sins.” You hath he quickened" (made alive to God.) Who did it? Do you need to read all of Ephesians and Galatians and Colossians, along with Romans to get Paul’s message? God led him to faith, gave him a Damascus road experience, (who was it that initiated that encounter? ) and he said that he is an “example for those that would believe “ in the Lord. So what other verses do you have for me to learn about this grace that has been given to us? (We could also look back to the “Father of faith” and wonder how in the world did Abraham come to know and trust in the Living God, when he came from UR where many worshipped idols. Laban his relative later in Jacob’s time is seen running after Jacob and Leah sat on the idols, hidden under her pregnancy excuse for resting on them. So our Old Testament example was commended for showing forth the faith that had been given to him (and he was called righteous) as a result of God’s intervention and initiating an encounter with Abraham. Then Paul is our example in the New testament of coming to faith by Christ striking him down and speaking to him. Notice how God uses man to get the word to Paul. In Abraham’s time God had to start with him and then he could share good news with the others in his family. Somehow he convinced others such as Lot to come along to Canaan. Faith comes how? By hearing… and usually it is hearing through a man’s speaking or occasionally by an angel. “God was in Christ, reconciling the WORLD to himself, not counting men’s sins against them. And God has given to us this ministry of reconciliation…” he desires us to be fishers of men and help drag the catch of fish in. “And I, if I be lifted up (exalted) from the Earth, shall Helkuo ( Greek word for drag/ draw) ALL unto me.” (Some versions have “ALL men” but man is added for emphasis only. He will draw by means of the spirit of God, and “He shall baptize (bring you into a close identification with) you with Holy Spirit ( Greek word EN means “by use of or by means of ) the spirit) and with fire.” What part of the gift of God’s grace comes from us? 0.0000001 % ? Just a teeny tiny repentance or confession or belief or asking, etc??? Well if we help to prepare our own gift, wouldn’t that spoil the gift for the one who wants ALL the glory? Thoughts?

Iyho! This is amazingly powerful and enlightening message ever, amidst so much confusion in the world created by the enemy of our souls, satan through ignorance and religion! Thank you Pastor John, the Lord God almighty bless you.

I know in the 90's that DTS did wander some. I even cancelled my Bibsac subscription. But all the DTS profs I sat under had none of the issues of which John is here referring to. I do think there was some misunderstanding. A close friend and PhD grad, one of his thesis (don't remember which one) was written against the Lordship Salvation issue. When I read what he wrote I came away thinking he had completely misunderstood John's teachings. Vocabulary properly defined and explained cannot be overly emphasized. To this day, Mt7:23 is still the most terrifying passage in all of scripture. I'm a Reformed Dispensationalist.

Jesus is tHe word, the word is the old and New Testament, same message. A salvation story of a bridegroom saving his bride, every Old Testament story is a love story of God saving his beloved creation. When Jesus says eat and drink my body and my blood…he is commanding us to commune with him in the spirit. If you are not born again in the spirit …you will never understand this…. And therefore resort to religious symbolism and idolatry. Real communion is surrendering daily to the Holy Spirit and submitting to Gods Will and sovereignty and HATING SATAN / LUCIFER and his twisted religious, political , scientific and social constructs to lure and trap the masses. Unless a man be born again and filled with the Holy Spirit he cannot enter heaven! Eg.. Jacob was chosen but did not have his salvation as an elect until he was born again as ISREAL! He who has ears let him hear.

Heresy. The Bible and the early church is against this nonsense. Romans 1 makes clear that God is known to all men, even those who are wicked. Romans 2 makes clear that all men are given the law of God in their hearts, that they have the capacity to follow it or deny it, and that their conscience will accuse or excuse them if they follow it or not. Romans 10 makes clear that the word has gone out to all the earth and everyone has heard, and can therefore have faith. Hebrews 11 makes clear that Abel, who seems to have had no knowledge of the bible or God other than God's existence and general revelation, and no law other than what was in his heart, was able to be righteous before God. Likewise any man anywhere is in the same position and can do the same. John 1 tells us that Jesus is the Creator that is known to all men, which means he is the one that every man has the ability to put his faith in. John 3 says that Jesus came for the entire world, because God loves the entire world. Colossians 1 makes it clear that the blood of Jesus achieved reconciliation with ALL men and ALL things. It's the blood of Jesus that saves everyone, even those who don't know it specifically. Titus 2 says that the grace of God is available to all men. Luke 12 says that servants with less knowledge will be judged on standards that are less strict. Putting it all together, all men have the possibility of salvation. John MacArthur is plainly wrong.

Your mindset in this moment and what was your focus and purpose of delivery is a supernatural divine truth of the process and milestones or way points leading in to thy will be done for Christ and our eliminating our damning personal reasoning paths and accepting surrendering faith in a singular LORD SAVIOR in the gospel of Jesus Christ word for our sanctification. Hearing the message concerning Christ and sharing testifying the gospel from our witness of its power with our humilty is right direction. I thought now I would like your regeneration of this message in a form for the youngest child and levels up to doctrine as correctly as possible leading children with the gospel from your perspectives. People who can distill every message for every age group are a rare brilliant example that are needed for parenting regeneration today and their children challenges even adult children we are trying to parent bring them to a close relationship with our Lord and to learn discipline and courage to battle the outside evil influences and I think this inspiration you can provide with influence patents seek and need.

"Only believe in Christ can save you from hell." That´s your theology? Believe in a man made god saves you from a nonexisting hell? Sancta simplicitas! These deceivers seem to have a good live on your costs. They will continue to deceive you as long as the deceit makes them rich.

Combining salvation and fellowship as one is the error of calvinism. Because others are wrong doesn't make calvinism right. The Bible alone determines what is right. Salvation is by grace, period. Jesus died for all sins, period. calvinism is a false gospel among many false gospels.

Billy Graham was committed to the gospel of Christ and never minced the words. God is the best judged to deal with people who never heard the gospel. The need to reach out people with the gospel is not invalidated for it liberates those who sit in darkness. Mr Graham's remark should be understood in its proper context. He fully understood the liberating power of the gospel but he was empathetic towards them who never heard the gospel.

This is why we believer children who die in infancy or before the Age of Accountability are with the Lord. They are ignorant of their condition. Still, Jesus commissioned his followers to go into all the world and preach the Gospel. We are held accountable for what we know. To whom much is given, much is required. With Privilege comes Responsibility. I know I am privileged to have a Savior, the Word of God and the Liberty to Worship and Tell Others of the Hope I have in Jesus. To Know I can Pray to my Heavenly Father and He Listens and Loves me, doesn't get any better in a world that is under a curse. Thank You, Jesus!

Pastor MacArthur is a brilliant Apologist, a defender of the Faith as it is in Jesus. And I respect and appreciate his ministry. I would differ with him on the subject of an Eternally Burning Hell. The incineration of all traces of sin takes place on this planet. This earth is then recreated on the ASHES. Malachi 4:1-3 and Revelation 21:1-3. The results of the lake of fire are eternal not the duration. God bless Dr. MacArthur!

So Adam and Eve were the first and the last with freewill? So Adam and Eve's reasoning had no role in their fall? No. But this does not mean that reasoning was the cause of the fall or the only element of the fall. God created " desire," in humans. Adam and Eve desired to be obedient up until the moment they " desired," what Satan offered. We are the same. We use reasoning to believe in God, and reasoning to reject God. What follows is faith, then God's grace. While humans elevate things they should not, we can't overlook what God created, and then to understand what humans do with what was created in them.
