I have never known, heard of him actually fighting anybody. Not competition, not in the street, and not a challenge fight. How does he know he can beat everybody?
His earlier and in his prime film such as "Marked For Death" were pretty good. But his DTV "movies" and especially "Attack Force" are absolutely terrible!
Funny how he uses the fake southern accent here and there lol. I grew up with his fighting style, then trained a little. Learned at LOT from it. No one in movies does the fighting he did back in the day.
How was he in Japan 18 years ? Really? He had a dojo in the valley in the 80's . He was doing fight cheoreography in movies sonce 83 . His first feature film Above the law was shot in 87 came out in 88 so He's lying about his time in Japan.

I studied Iiaido, a sword martial art in Japan, and they welcomed me with open arms, even with very limited Japanese language skills, so not sure what he is talking about, could be his arrogant attitude???
This guy Stephen Seagal once farted on my snacks on an airplane. It was extremely disturbing. I had initially placed an apple pie and cupcake down on the seat next to me on a flight from Kuto Indonesia onwards to Santa Cruz California. I pulled out my laptop and started to do business work. After that, this rather portly fellow comes by and sits on the apple pie and cupcake while farting at the same time. Cupcake and apple pie goop went everywhere even all over my laptop. Before I could respond to him the man grabs my laptop and makes airplane jet engine noises with his mouth and frisbees my laptop across the plane. Air marshals arrest him all the while he is taken into custody signing a petition type deal that the public may never learn about this stupid embarrassing incident. They gave me a new crappy laptop and gift certificate at Quiznos sandwiches for $35⁰⁰. Total bullshit!! This Stephen Seagal guy sucks!!! His movie's are made and directed by city garbageman workers and hes smells like it!!!!!!
Everyone makes fun of him, but if you watch the entire video Poatan put out, he and his team were not laughing- and his head striking coach was very intrigued by many of the techniques. People don't understand that even though obviously Aikido would not work by itself in MMA, you can incorporate high-level Aikido techniques into your repertoire to add extra layers that your opponents won't be prepared for. There are very few high-level Aikido black belts who studied in Japan who are willing to share anything, so basically no one in MMA has ever seen some of these little nuisances in movement, angles, & execution, which in a game of inches can sometimes be the difference in getting to your opponent before he gets to you.
