I love how Rebecca sugar and her team incorporated mental health...I think that madam cry more than him leaving because I went through a few manic ptsd episodes and seeing this raises so much awareness to the stresses of life .

while I somewhat get Steven, that scene was so bad. It was like him shitting on Greg's trauma. It's like what we see a lot today "well I had worse, so why are you complaining". Trauma is not a competition.

@@matth2283 Sorry, but you completely misunderstood the scene. Steven wasn'´t shitting on Greg's trauma. He didn't see the trauma in the first place. All he saw was a normal life and upbringing, which in that moment was a blessing to him, that he was denied. Since if he grew up as a normal human being, he wouldn't have to deal with all the issues, that he had throughout Future. But he was so entranced by Greg living up "normally" in the past, that he completely missed all the hints and red flags, of Greg`'s upbringing not being the blessing that Steven hoped it'd be. He wanted this normal life so much, that he dismissed Greg's side of the story and tried to come up with explanations to rationalize his parents actions. Though I guess he doesn't help that Steven never got to meet Greg's parents to get the full picture.

👨‍🎓☝️Fun fact: When Steven and Jasper became corrupted, it showed that gems and humans aren't so different. When humans get Ptsd they have an emotional breakdown, and gem corruption is parallel to that because a gems power is drawn from their emotions.
