I know a lot of the fans struggle when he goes a completely different direction whereas I applaud it. We all evolve so why shouldn't the music evolve too? This album is extremely relevant and punchy, so glad he's not afraid to explore whatever goes in his mind despite what other people might like it or not. The more you listen to this song the more you appreciate it. It's an amazing album, seriously (and I'm a PT fan since back in the day). Genious that's all I have to say

There are no good or bad genres in music. There is good and bad music. Steven is a genius mind and thank God we are here getting old hearing his music from Porqupine Tree till now. Music is elastic and like Frank Zappa said “A mind is like a parachute. It doesn’t work if it is not open.”

I THOUGHT the original of this had a bit of a Nile Rodgers feel, especially the bass. Seems the man himself agrees, and added a bit more of his touch to it! Fan-bloody-tastic. 😁

Steven Wilson is like the Leonardo DaVinci of the music

You know there is some concern when the remixes are increasingly better than the original song. This was always a disco track. But it's now reinforced by funk. Sounds more energetic rhythmically. In some ways the original is better. But it leaves you feeling like something is wrong or missing at the end. It's a confusing feeling like it is 3/4 of the way finished. That's how most of his songs sounds these days.

I could be so happy if I can work on the TFB warehouse, packing dozens of purchases.
