The section with Mark Feltham is incredible, the sheer raw power of the harmonica is quite astonishing, made me feel quite emotional. The feeling in his playing really hits you.
I can't believe the amount of stuff that Paul Stacey has got in that studio. look at all those amps, pedals, drums, keyboards, preamps, mics, compressors, guitars, basses. that's a lot of time and money invested there, and he seems to be super familiar with how each of those things works and what to use to get a particular sound. mad respect for that guy.

this gives me great insight into my journey to completing my album. I shouldn't be so concerned with the cable salad and devices all over the place. No need to force it when everything comes in bits and pieces. It will all find a place
It’s kind of funny. I remember, when TTB came out, there was quite some bashing. Even my opinion was divided as i didn’t know, if i should like the album or not. But today - knowing his later works - i must say, it’s a really good album. And i listen to it with more pleasure than to The Future Bites and Harmony Codex.
Ninet Tayeb sounds phenomenal on this album. I was really hoping to see more connection between these two musicians. From the footage it looks more like another day in the office, sit down, do the job (sing) and leave. No small talk, nothing. Very professional like relationship between these two.
Love these sorts of documentaries. I had the same pleasure watching Jackson's Get Back sessions . And yes, I do put The Beatles on a similar level with Steven Wilson. I feel similar passion for them, and both push music to new levels.
I'm sure mine is not the majority opinion, but for me this is the weakest SW album. The only one I haven't listened to for years. Nothing really new or interesting on it, lots of generic rock songs, lacking any coherence. Fortunately, the vast majority of SW's works are masterpieces so I cannot complain.
Thanks for the immersive experience Steven. The pedal layout’s insane really. I felt like I was there barefoot and all, about to be electrocuted by an analog stuff. Your music is so real and magnificent. Kudos!
