The deadpan delivery is just so great. One of my favorite jokes he ever did was "I changed the engine in my car. I forgot to take out the first one. Now, my car goes 700 miles an hour." Steven Wright was such an innovator. Really great.

I have never understood how anyone, why anyone, would like that condescending, pretentious, rude and cocky talk show host. What part of modern personalities are drawn to his disrespectful demeanor, all propped up on his elevated chair behind the desk? I watched him a few times in the hope that someone would risk it all by cleaning his clock.
