@@lindamaloney1637 I think on stage Christine didn't care for the limelight she let Stevie have it. Christine was happy behind her keyboards. Yes I agree about Christine's solo, especially her 1984 solo album, Christine Mcvive.
Stevie will always be relevant, her star quality is incomparable. Her writing is unmatched, and watching Stevie talking about Lindsey in 2020 is crazy!
She has admitted that her big regret in life is not having any children ( although she did get pregnant with Don Henley from the Eagles but had an abortion)
being a 57 year old man I've had a crush on her since I was a teenager in the seventies And she is amazing songwriter and singer And a very talented woman
Her haunting voice resonates with a unique smoky harmonic that no one else possesses. Hers is an old soul...timeless...enthralling and captivating. She can rock with the best then soothe your soul with a tender, insightful ballad that makes you feel as if it was written just for you.
I've always loved Stevie. Her voice is captivating and she just carries herself with such grace. I guess that's from taking dance as a child. Her outfits are something I could only dream to be able to afford. Stevie is just a mysterious gypsy with her witchy like outfits. I adore her!
She is always popping up from out the blue. The first time I heard Rhiannon, I was home alone, and 12yo. As it was introduced on the radio station and began to play, her voice was like a child's. I cried listening to the words and when it was over, I thought, omg I love that song. I couldn't wait to rush out and buy the single. Back then, singles sold for 50 cents. I played it and played it until I knew all the words in the lyrics. It was my go to song whenever I was hurting. Since then I've been a fan. Dreams is the song I sang when I was trying out for the high school choir. It seemed every song after just got better and better. She dies still look amazing and is very much a part of my passion for style, and music.
A fabulously talented and connected woman! Nothing feeds the sole more than her grounded self assurance and her chosen path, possibly guided/inspired by her father, but certainly accomplished by her wonderful talents and individualism! She inspires those of us that choose to go our own way! I’m sure she misses her friend and sole mate, Christy! Cheers to you Stevie!
When I am 90 Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nick's music will still being played. Thank you for your talent and sharing it with us all , you are one of my all time favorite bands and solo female artists. 💜
She’s written the BEST SONGS. She’s pure Magic. I’m really glad I’ve been on earth when Stevie is here. Was just rocking out in the car to Stop Dragging My Heart Around.
Mr Stevie Nicks, I absolutely love it! Nothing better than a strong woman who knows what she's doing and has the talent of what this woman has, you are an absolute icon! God bless you for all of your wonderful fantastic music that has carried me through my life as a child to the successful man that I am today!
Since 1975 I have adored Stevie Nicks for her music, poetry, fashion sense, and just her essence/being !!!! She is a brilliant Star ☺️ in our sometimes dark sky !!! An amazing soul !!! Love you, Stevie !!!
Stevie is an all out goddess! Mad respect and love for her! What really makes me reassured that women can do anything is that she’s the first and only woman to be inducted TWICE, not once, TWICE into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame! I think that’s just utter goddessness right there!!
Such an icon and my idol growing up. She carried many of us growing up through music. I have her same name, lived in the same town, same height & weight, same hair color and Loved, love her music! Every song takes me through an era of time and memory
One of the best Female Rock Stars of all time. Love all her music. Her Music makes my Heart and Soul dance. Thank you Stevie Nicks. You are one of a kind. Much Love.🎵🎶🎼🎸🎹🎙🎻🎤🎺🎷🎼📻
I was 18 when I discovered her, she was 33...loved her at first sight, she was the older sister I never had...shes 74, im 59...long way...worth every day of my life, shes still like the older sister...When in Paradise Valley, I could see where her parents wouldve lived..I loved her parents..for they created her and Chris!
She (and Fleetwood Mac) have been the soundtrack of my life. I still listen to her/them, literally, every single day. For me, life would be very different without them.
I love everything about Stevie Nicks. The fact that she was good friends with Prince, created a songs like Gypsy and Landslide results in her being a true role model for my nieces. She's the absolute best America has to offer!
In a way, spending moments like this listening to my stars of the past as they have lived and grown and succeeded or not. God knows, Stevie succeeded. Some of the rest of us have as well but it's nice sharing their stories with us to know they were mere humans then, and are mere humans now. But, they had the skill to entertain us. Thank you, Stevie. 🙂❤
I'm 71 and have never tried illegal drugs or even pot. Never was a heavy drinker. And I consider myself lucky to be alive today. So many people and children die young.
Stevie Nick's I have been listening to you and alot of other's who's voice and music make's me happy and brings me peace of mind , I'll be 70 yes. old in July and this takes me back to when I was much younger and brings back those memorie's and I thank you so much for all of it ❤ and I hope that your going to release the movie on video, I want it 😊
Bravo Stevie. You have proven as a woman we don’t have to have kids or be a mother we don’t have to be married in find the one we can be OK living alone it’s perfectly normal to do that. Women have done this for centuries they were called spinsters to be pitied and ridiculed for not having anybody. Times have changed when I see a single woman that never married without children I think man that chick is strong!
She has "had" many men and their musical input has made her rich which makes it all worthwhile ...(when she's 90 living in her huge mansion with 15 dogs - sounds really great!)- not convincing , not even a tiny bit.
-Stevie is really something. Me & my girlfriend loved her and her band. In fact it was my g/f that told ME about this new and great group of singers. I was into music big time but never heard of Fleetwood Mac. But once i started listening to them i loved there music from then on & even to this very day. Stevie Nicks ---We love you & think U & your views are so true---Is as Great as your music,💙🎸
Great to hear this interview! In light of the fact that you're concerned with time slipping away, you may enjoy a song I wrote which was performed by Canon Lee, 'Hourglass Be My Friend'. I hope to hear you singing for many years to come. We're so lucky to have listened to your unique sound over the decades. Thanks, Stevie
Buckingham/Nicks gave Fleetwood Mac their greatest success. Initially, FM only wanted Lindsey, but he told Mick Fleetwood that Stevie had to be included or no deal.
IMHO Stevie is the GREATEST FEMALE SINGER of all time - period! Just like the white winged Dove............Stevie is ageless and timeless she is a beautiful today as when we first saw her many moons ago - her songs will outlive us all. THANK YOU for them all. M
Love Stevie and all of Fleetwood Mac. I was 10 when the white album came out and 12 when romours hit. The classic 5 are my generation. Senior year Mirage came out. Love.
I would love to see you in heaven Stevie Jesus is the only way he pulled me out of a horrible life and I'm so thankful for His immense Love and forgiveness. 🥰
I respect her and so many of the great female music artists of my baby boomer generation. They didn't need to be on stage exposing their near naked bodies shaking their booties to be popular. It was all about the music. To many so called artist of today, it's about being the most popular , to just to in the headlines.
@@charliedillon1400 Stevie has never been overtly sexual on stage or scantily dressed and never, ever twerked in everyone's faces. She had a natural aura and good looks.
Stevie nicks would not be in fleetwood mac if was not for lindsey they lived together for 6 years and mick fleetwood heard is music in studio and called him to be in fleetwood mac he said only if you take my girlfriend too and rest his history.
Stevie I want you to be ok I hope your doing ok it's Kevin hamory you saved me I'm in Nashville at room at the inn on Drexel god bless you dear I'm sure you saved so many people I'm a gypsy like you
When you've got $100 MILLION and in your 70s -- LIFE IS GREAT! Us "baby boomers" sure are lucky to have enjoyed Fleetwood Mac for so long. Way cool! We must have tunes. It's a spiritual massage for our tender souls. It's audio love. Cheers! Love, Cav. *
What a sad ending to her band Fleetwood Mac. Firing Lindsey, a huge mistake. Lindsey was the one who gave her the chance to be in that band insisting to Mick that he and Stevie come as a package, when he was asked to join. It made no sense to fire Lindsey.
