He is sweating cuz the way he plays is an incredible work out putting everything he has into it and bending those piano wire strings‼️ Double Trouble is the name of the band and of course Stevie Ray as the headliner. They were a very tight band of brothers that loved each other very much. Stevie insisted on all performance fees be spilt evenly between them even if that really wasn't done. Reese Wynans, the pianist, has no need to look at the keys like Stevie doesn't need to look at his strings. It's called mastery🎶‼️ You guys would really love a song Stevie wrote called Ain't Gone 'N' Give Up On Love performed at the Capitol Theatre 1985. A soulful, bluesy tune that is one of my favorites. 🎶🎸💙

Double Trouble is Tommy Shannon the basses went to school with Stevie Ray Vaughan, they were in a band called The Chantones when Stevie Ray's band called Triple Threat Reuve started to leave 1st the lead singer Lou Ann Barton left for a solo career in 1979 then the rest followed Tommy Shannon heard Stevie Ray was looking for band members and in 1980 Tommy Shannon joined Stevie Ray's band. Drummer Chris Layton came shortly after Tommy and Stevie Ray changed the name to Double Trouble. In 1985 Reese Wynans joined Double Trouble, Reese Wynans played keyboard. Reese Wynans played keyboard for The Allman Brothers Band when Duane Allman decided he only wanted one keyboardist and obviously chose his brother Greg Allman. That is the story of Double Trouble. They were all masters at what they did. They were lost and didn’t play music after Stevie’s death but they eventually went back to doing the only thing that knew and that was to play music. If you notice Stevie is never center stage he’s off to the right even though it was billed around him he always thought of himself as just part of the band! Stevie, Chris Layton drummer, Tommy Shannon had been playing together for 14 years and Reese Wynans on the keys was in the band for 10 or 11 years so they were tight. Stevie didn’t believe in set lists they just knew what he was going to play by his run down he did at the beginning of each song! We lost so much when Stevie passed he was a wonderful soul! RIP Stevie we miss you! Your music lives on!!! 😊🫶🎸☀️🌵🙏

Double Trouble is his band. They were together many years. The keyboards weren't added till later. It was only SRV, Chris Layton on drums & Tommy Shannon on bass.

When SRV started out, there were only 2 additional band members, the drummer and bass player and they were referred to as Double Trouble, then Reece, the keyboard player was added to the mix but the name remained as Double Trouble. May I sugest y'all hit "Mary Had A Little Lamb", yeah the nursery rhyme, live from the same show and another not that often hit by other reactors called "Willie the Wimp" live from the Midtfyns Festival 1988,
