How do you make a sad song sound so good? 💙💙💙those two men just showed us how the Blues sounds💙💙💙. This was such a great collaboration that it is just epic🎸🎶💯. Tin Pan Alley is a place in New York City, you can Google image it and see it on a street sign. Stevie knew Johnny from Texas and, because making a living playing the blues had declined, Johnny had gone back to a steady job and wasn't gigging anymore. Stevie Ray had been the cause of the blues making a comeback with his popularity and he reached back and drew the masters back through the semi closed door. Always giving credit and love to those blues masters that he so loved and emulated. He talked Johnny into coming back onstage and he had flown Johnny in from the states to play three songs at this venue in Montreux Switzerland. Next they played Look At Little Sister which you would also love. Very upbeat and fun.🎶🎸🎶 Thanks so much for a such a great reaction. I have really been enjoying your discovery of this amazing artist and stellar human being. Thanks to reactors such as yourself exposing new generations of people to this great music, it will live on 🎶🎸💙💯

The reason they was laughing so hard at the end of the song was Johnny was supposed to sing the last verse and he forgot the words so Stevie had to sing it .

So much soul and talent on that stage. SRV, Johnny, and the Double Trouble Band. Have you checked out SRV 'Riviera Paradise' yet? (instrumental).

There is a lot to love about Stevie but one of The things I love him for is he loved the people that was his idols he would get them on stage with him and share the stage with them because he wants his fans to listen to the ones that inspired him

Yes...he always paid homage to the greats, particularly the blues masters! Unfortunately there are a lot of really good artists out there but not many with the humility and heart that Stevie had. Truly amazing man in so many different ways.

Yeah that intro never gets old, Stevie plays it so smoothly. And he looks great here. That first strum when you said what the hell was that--hilarious. But that extended strumming was just jaw-dropping. I saw that yours did. Great reaction. Like to see you do "Little Wing", "Voodoo Child", Nashville. "Ain't gone n give up on Love"; "Couldn't stand the Weather". RIP, King SRV❤.

Stevie Ray Vaughan's song "Tin Pan Alley" (also sometimes called "Roughest Place in Town") flips the typical meaning of the term. The original Tin Pan Alley was known for being a center of commercial music production, not exactly a rough place. Vaughan's song uses the name ironically, suggesting the music industry can be a cutthroat and demanding environment, far from the lighthearted image often associated with Tin Pan Alley tunes. It's a cool way to play with the term's history and add depth to the song.

You're right, he wasn't human. A guitar Alien from some blue(sy) planet out there. Seriosly have you ever heard strumming like that in your life? Stevie always brings it. The intro alone is fire. Please do more SRV. "Little Wing", if you haven't already. His cover of Stevie Wonder's "Superstition" is solid. My fave us "Change It", from the Live Alive CD. Excellent entertaining reaction.😊

Extremely thankful my father raised me on Stevie. Always bring back the best memories. I wouldn't be the same if I wasnt raised on this. I remember the day Stevie died O was 9. My father was legitimately distraught. Only time I've seen him upset with something outside of the family. Rip Dad

You should checkout Led Zeppelin, the greatest band ever, you won’t be disappointed. Some song suggestions, studio versions. You Shook Me, & How Many More Times, & Dazed & Confused. Live performances Madison Square Gardens (1973) Since I’ve Been Loving You, or any thing from that concert. Live at Earls Court (1975) In My Time Of Dying, the May 25,1975 version. Live at Knebworth, the K is silent (1979), Achilles Last Stand. I hope you decide to check them out, every song will blow your mind.

The meanest Blues duet is a joke when you consider that Johnny couldn't remember the song and basically ruins it, and the greats that Stevie Ray played with let alone the other Blues Ledgends.

Johnny Copeland was a Blues guitarist and singer who's career started in the 1950's in Huston Texas and was a popular touring act for 20 years and started his career off with a song called Rock And Roll Lily. He was known more for his singing rather than his guitar playing and in 1981 he won a W.C.Handy Award, in 1987 won a Grammy for Best Traditional Blues Album for his album called Showdown. In 1985 he was a guest at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland with Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble this concert here. He's sweating so bad because he was sick with Congenital Heart Defect and had a heart transplant after this concert. He had to have another Heart transplant in February 1997 and died 6 months later On July 3,1997 in New York. Stevie loved to have guest with him that he would listen to back in the day so people would ask who was that and bring them back to the music scene. Great reaction
