Glenn, Jim Gardner here. I sat by you at the Balcony Club about 5 weeks March 2023 when you were videoing Junior Clarks Saturday night gig. What I didn't know at the time, is what all you have seen and captured on video throughout the years. I have watched this Dec. 2nd 1988 show with Kim, Duke, Preston, and Stevie Ray, sitting in for Jimmie that night. I saw Stevie many times but what you preserved for all to see this night is a great piece of history and how great he was. He was unselfish, and brought out the best of the other band members. These memories will live for ever. Thanks for making this possible. Jim

I was lucky enough to be at Stevie’s El Mocambo show! In subsequent years I became good friends with Duke, and particularly Jimmy Vaughan, who I’m in contact with to this day! (I was a Blues Club owner, a festival operator and a radio DJ) Now I’m old and live on memories! lol Peace

I saw Duke open up for Stevie Ray Vaughan at Rhode Island College in 1983 and it was one of the greatest shows I've ever seen.

Two great guitarist! I grew up with Duke in Rhode Island he taught me some licks. I've seen him play a thousand times Never disappoints. One of the best shows was with Johnny Winter! Time goes by so fast! RIP Stevie and Johnny 2 guitar slingers!

Great to see and hear. And good to see Duke Robillard in a situation where he was unable to push his way to the front.

Stevie Ray Vaughan is loose as a Goose on this stage and running away with it..What a night of entertainment this is and everybody feeling like swinging..its a great mold..terrific band.. .The rhythem and lyrics are outstanding and phenomenal..

Stevie Ray Vaughan was the greatest guitar player I have ever seen. R.I.P. SRV God Bless his family. I miss him so much. To watch him playing was amazing and I will never see another player like this again

My band opened for Duke at the original Lupos, in the 80s, and not only can he play, he’s a very nice person, who was very gracious to me and my fellow band mates, the way you would hope everyone would be, but they are not! Good to see Duke getting a little love, he deserves it!

Stevie Ray Vaughan is fantastic and sooo good at playing the electric guitar..He surely out does himself at times..Amazing ..sensational musician..Good quality is Hard to come by..r u with me? Never be forgotten..RIP Stevie

Love seeing Stevie come back from where he goes when he's playing. Opens eyes, and he always looks so surprised...hey I am here...when did that happen! Winding down that last song in the very beginning was classic Stevie reentry to land of skinsuits.

Stveie ray vaughan was one of the best .i saw him in a small club in the bay area .he totally rocked the shit .i named my first daughter .haley vaughan. I wish I could have met him .steel 💘 his music and will never forget him. California Terri.

When you see Stevie playing with others he is smiling laughing having a good time. A real team player. Relaxed. Still really good and focused. When in the 3 piece setting dead serious almost like under pressure. Same with Hendrix Rory G Gary M and others . I guess its the price you pay playing in power trios. Still nice to see a relaxed Stevie having a good time.

Duke Robillard solo fantastic as well...imagine having to follow SRV!

When Stevie walked out on stage, the building exploded as soon as he hit the guitar strings. I don't think SRV realized how awesome he was.

Duke Robillard is a local native to upstate NY he went to Texas and showed the South that the North knows how to Rock the Blues! SRV shined as always he also traveled to Rochester played at the Red Creek bar on his way to Toronto to play with Albert King...

Glad to see a footage I haven’t seen of SRV! Without a doubt my favourite all time guitar player! Could play all types of music and good, too! I especially love to see him jam with other bands, and how humble he is and not hogging the spotlight with his hero’s!

I used to see Stevie and The Triple Threat Revue at The Rome Inn on Sunday night and he was great, I moved back to Kansas City, Missouri and Stevie was going to play at Harlings Upstairs , it was a small club and this was before Stevie had cut any records , anyway we got there early and when we walked in Stevie was playing pinball, I walked over and introduced myself, and told him that I used to see him in Austin, he sat down and we had some drinks, after the show we went to his motel room and talked, we invited him, Tommy , Chris , and Cutter , to lunch the next day, anyway they came to my home and my wife cooked a big meal for them , we drank alot of beer ,smoked some good Oxacan weed and became friends, those guys were all gentlemen, Stevie and the guys kept in touch through the years and the world misses Stevie
