This is ENTERTAINMENT..Stevie Ray Vaughan is sensational..Stevie and Double Trouble went all over the world to perform and Stevie had fans from everywhere..still does..One of the greatest rockin roll and blue's guitar stringers that ever lived..R you with me? Great musician

Whoever helps Stevie Ray Vaughan get dressed before going on stage needs to be commended for it because he always looks smart in whatever he has on..Good taste and always presented with great manners on stage....Just wanted to Express my feelings about such a fine looking young man..Great singer and best guitar player and Blue's..The BEST

Stevie Ray Vaughan wasn't very big but he had big ambitions..and that took him to being a blue's legend and an award for the best guitar player on his strat..great band..terrific singer..

After scouring the fan grounds out there watching Stevie Ray Vaughan and the band..I see a tremendous amount of men at this concert ! Does men particularly like Stevie Ray Vaughans concerts ? I learn new things every day..Stevie is sensational..what talent..Best guitar player around and that strat is perfect for Stevie to always be by his side..great band Double Trouble..

...American Jazz is HUGE everywhere in Europe, especially Germany. I'd say 90% of those in attendance were all aspiring guitarists showing up to watch a legend.....

@@Swimfinz He wasn’t playing jazz. He started dabbling with it in his last album, but definitely not a jazz player, though he could throw some jazzy chord voicings and leads in improv, here and there, which were usually straight from Hendrix’s repertoire. Listen to Hendrix Rainy Day, Dream Away, then SRV’s Say What! Sting’s Swing was about as jazzy as SRV got before Riviera Paradise.

Stevie Ray Vaughan is great!.. He walked the walk and he talked the talk..Sensational on stage or off the stage..Double Trouble is a terrific band..Stevie could make that guitar do whatever he jammed on it and a quick change of a string didn't hurt nothing ..on with the show..You are loved Stevie Ray Vaughan

Terrific song being sang by Stevie Ray Vaughan and his playing of the strat is fabulous..Double Trouble is blasting away and incredible musicians..what a festival and alot of fans here..Blue's and Rock is what Stevie brings to the stage and best guitar player the world over..what an entertainer..

if you're referring to the the guitar sound especially at the start, SRV has his guitar going through a Leslie cabinet which has a rotary speaker in it which rotates the same way it does for a hammond organ giving it that swirly, wobbly sound. That speaker is generally for a keyboard/organ but SRV used it himself most notably for Coldshot

This was his lorelei concert in germany i believe in 84

Nah, it's a Fender Vibratone. Mostly made for guitars, I believe. I believe at that time he used a Dumble Steel String Singer, that cabinet and a Ibanez TS9. One year later he switched the overdrive pedal to an Ibanez TS10. Sometimes two of them.

It only meant Southern based Blues, R&B, Gospel, Boogie and the bands who played this kind of music, rather than the political context it has of today.
