Stevie Ray Vaughan's music never gets old just keeps getting better every time I come back to have a listen or two or three or more!!!! The sound coming off that stage has a full bodied soulful sound. Steve's music will last forever!!!!!!!❤ Rest In Peace Stevie, you left us way too soon...✌🎼🎵🎵🎵
Hands down hands up Stevie Ray had the best hands music can make thank you got for giving us 35 years of complete mad ness of a man only god sent him to this earth beautiful make of geniuse
The fact he could play like this as deep into drugs as he was proved his greatness! The first performances after he got clean always make the hair on my neck stand. Lost him way too soon. He'll live on in our hearts.
I do agree 100%! Blues drummers always seem to go unnoticed. 😔 I hope Double Trouble is still with Joe Bonamassa! They couldn't have ended up with a better person and Blues player after Stevie!! 😃
he wasn't underrated by STEVIE,HE WAS PICKED,and that's some high class credentials,so is the bass player to hang with stevie, top tier talent, anybody would love to jam with them nite after nite round the world, genius help
honestly i think stevie would've been better with a different drummer, Layton always stays soooo inside the box he never goes anywhere new or makes me say wow.
Saw the man years ago at sanctuary concert in Tucson. Bonnie Raitt joined him on stage. It was ridiculous. Like they’ve been playing together for years. Amazing!
This is the very first song I heard on the radio in England, unfortunately I found out that he was already dead, I bought every album I could get my hands on and then all the videos, how we have RU-vid I watch them all repeatedly, he was phenomenal and there will never be a better guitarist....ever RIP SRV the GOAT
@@michaeljames190e There are no words as you say, he is greatly missed. There are those that haven't heard him yet, boy are they in for the treat of their lives💙👌🇬🇧💔🖤
@@sandragriffiths9692 There’s so many words I can say tbh lol…. To apropos however, I’ve never really felt that “longing, mourning, feeling of missing someone dear you know?.. I’m a 92’ baby, the feeling I feel is love for the guy always. His life was proof he lived life fully completely. I’ve missed the chance to see him live, but I’m with him in spirit everytime I’m playing my Stratocaster 😇 He’s still here to me I guess the point I’m trying to make. Never met him but will remember him forever, for exactly who he was and with the powers of music who he “is”. And trust me I’m still getting to know him more as I myself grow older down here lol.
@@michaeljames190e Yes, he seemed to have that effect on a lot of people. I still cry when I watch Texas Flood and must have watched it over 1000 times. He was the best and always will be. Many haven't experienced him yet, but when they do, they will probably feel the same as us, respect, awe and incredulity. 🇬🇧💙👌😚
My boy , from South Oak Cliff , Dallas Texas, my neighborhood, the Vaughn Brothers , Long Live Rock , Stevie's #1 , his guitar was #1 and he's #1 all time , my vote , thank u
This was at Montreux festival in 1985: crowd loves him.. At a curtain call, SRV mentioned 1982 appearance there and being booed: crowd didn’t like electric blues 3 years earlier. He said “first time we were ever booed and first time we got a Grammy”😂
Well , I'm Sure he Knew is his Mind , They just wasn't Ready for A Master of Blues Like SRV , LUVIN' N Playing ya Ever Day....See ya on the Other Side Bro
I WILL NEVER FORGET MY BROTHER MATT CHAPMAN AND MYSELF LISTENING TO STEVIE RAY VAUGHAN AND DRINKING COLD BEER THOSE WERE THE DAYS ...RIP MY BROTHER AND STEVIE RAY VAUGHAN YOU ARE BOTH MISSSED ...MARTIN CHAPMAN .....!!!!

Seen stevie ray in 1994 in MASSACHUSETTS and I will never forget that show. Now it's almost 2023 and still love his music. ITS LIKE FINE WINE. GETS BETTER WITH AGE.
Such a terrible loss for the Music Industry. Especially for his best friend Rocky Athas and his brother Jimmie! RIP SRV So honored to have been to Dallas to pay respects to him and his parents Jimmie Lee and Martha Jean And also Austin to see his Statue.
STEVIE Ray Vaughan a guitar legend and a song writer ..Stevie's voice is grand to hear..popular all over the world..Stevie makes his sound go far out to you and me and is phenomenal..got it? Love Stevie Ray Vaughan and may his music live on..were into 2021 and going into 2022..still listening
I never got to see him live so I'll bow to your expertise. This may be the first time I've seen or noticed them. The oddest thing on a clip I've seen was him using a big ass brass slide on one song. Can't recall which one... "Willie the Wimp" maybe.
IF ANY OF YOU LOVE SRV LIKE I DO CHECK OUT TAB BENOIT HE IS VERY GREAT BLUES PLAYER AND HE USED TO WEAR A HAT JUST LIKE SRV WHEN HE WAS YOUNGER THIS GUY IS ALSO AMAZING RIP SRV U ARE STILL THE GREATEST EVER
Uma perda muito precoce, esse grande guitarrista a qualidade de suas canções arremata sua genialidade do blues misturado. Coloca muitos músicos famosos no bolso, mais populares. Que descanse em paz....
Adrian Avila: There's a video here on RU-vid of a Santana concert which closes with an awesome ensemble jam featuring Jimmy Lee Vaughan, SRV and the lefty guitarist-vocalist from Los Lobos (can't remember his name).
Such a huge inspiration to so many young musicians myself included. It makes you wonder what music he would have kept creating. I wish I could have seen him perform live.
