SRV was taken WAY too soon! The GOAT of guitarists....humble and kind...couldve made it real big on his own (with David Bowie) but was loyal to his band Double Trouble ...& stayed true to his own values....similar to Elvis in many ways but unfortunately killed before he got to really do his thing (as did Hendrix) ....love ur doing SRV 🙃

A lot of people don’t know that David Bowie “discovered” him. He saw him play at a festival and recruited SRV to play on his album “Let’s Dance”. Bowie wanted him to tour with him for that album but SRV had a band and didn’t want to turn his back on them plus he wanted to play his music so he declined the offer. That my friend is called integrity, loyalty and confidence!

If you don't believe in God, you obviously never saw Stevie Ray live! He did things with a guitar that a human being can't explain, backed that up with a soulful voice, and flamboyant stage presence. Clearly Jesus worked through him!
