Fourth row, aisle seat. He sat down on the floor right next to me and played for what seemed forever. This was hands down one of the best shows I have ever attended. plus a hell of a ride there and back. snowed something fierce that night.
Me and my cousin were in the audience that night. God, seeing him Live was something else. Many moments my thought process was, does he top Hendrix. Stevie was on Fire. Always wished he had played at the Masonic Temple though. Better venue and acoustics there. Eyes shut soaking it all in.. Man.
Simply absolutely phenomenal brings chills down my spine, makes me want to cry, just to hear you play them blues. within I feel you're vibes? You're amazing!!! I wish I would've had that Moment in time to see you perform live. Godbless R,I,P, Stevie Ray Vaughan . 🎸🌹🤘🙌👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
I've heard quite a few versions of this song the 1 with j.copeland is the best but I also heard 1 with R.cray and C.salgato that was great to so I just love the song period.
Was the rest of this show recorded? Or others from the 6 night run in 86 at Royal Oak Music Theater. I know 2/20 circulates and for a while 2/22 was on youtube but seems to have been taken down. This really is a great version of Tin Pan Alley btw.
