Established in 1973, DOD was one of the two long-established effector brands in the United States, along with MXR.
"It was" because in 2008, due to poor performance, we stopped production of effectors and decided to shift the main production line to DigiTech, which also has Harman as its parent company.
After that, Tom Clam, the head of Harman's department, proceeded with the DOD revival project in secret to the company, and officially revived in 2013.
