It's just FUN that he has all the parts and has never played this tune the same any two times - and the rest of the band is just in perfect timing with the breaks and reading his lead . . . simply amazing
I saw him at the Kalamazoo County Fair Aug 24 1990..right before alpine valley.. We were still on fire from the show we just saw 3 days later and he was gone.. But never gone! 👍SRV-RIP

I like srv version of voodoo chile, because he plays the main intro twice, first at intro, second at the end of the song and that end is always amazing!
Wow this version is alsome. Im only 37 but i cry every time i image him getting on tht helicopter going to go see is girl friend. And few minutes later hes laying on the ground suffering so bad be dies. Cant wait to c him in heaven. Gonna ask jesus were hes at. after i worship Jesus 1st if course.
