Meeting Stevie changed his soul he Evan says it they were the first black and white to sing together on a stage in that era the sung this to change racial systems and it's slowly changing
Glen's hair ain't blowin in the wind, that's for sure. I think that's the most perfect(ly in place) hairdo on a man I ever seen. Not a hair outa place, beither hair nor there. Beautiful gospel version. Thanks guys!
Seeing this made me cry omg Glen could sing soul & play guitar and I truly hope heaven exist so I can see him & all the artist I love once more around with my family there I miss my baby brother Russell.... love to all ! Blessings life is lived once where do we go! 🖤
I remember Paul Young saying, "Music is the best form of communication." It definitely showed in Stevie and Glen's performance. I would have added "and connection" to what Paul said. Along with Stevie and Glen connecting so beautifully when performing this composition, I have no doubt that they conveyed the song's message to the audience. It definitely resonated with me--that in life, sometimes questions remain unanswered. Thanks for this upload.
Pee Hawk, Glen's fantastic, check out his songs with Billy Preston, Ray Charles, Natalie Cole and Dionne Warwick on You Tube. He was always a big fan and admirer of his African-American counterparts and fought to have them on his TV show in the late 60's when the network was not overly receptive to the idea. He was the only White artist invited to sing at Ray Charles' funeral.
Yes he was honest enough to say he didn’t. He’s probably under 40 years old. Rob- Glen Campbell was a country boy who grew up poor in Arkansas, he was an amazing virtuoso guitar player, one of the very best, a tremendous soulful singer, excellent songwriter, and handsome and charismatic showman. As one of the other commenters put it, he had it all, the complete package. And, as another put it, this really was a meeting of two giants, and I guess three if you count Dylan who wrote the song. What’s really moving and sad to me about this clip, is the hope and the dream of peace and brother and sisterhood that so many millions of people felt back then, as something that might come true in the near future. How long ago, and far away, that seem now-like a dream that fades away in the light of day. .
Cool Brother Stevie Wonder wish he can be healed from Too turn it Around in The Lord For him to see and stay healthy and happy and prosperous and healed and that's my prayers beyond my opinion For Everyone A Heaven on Earth Forever For Us ALL Amen in The Lord Jesus Christ period Amen.
