On this day in 1969 {September 13th} Stevie Wonder performed "My Cherie Amour" on the late Dick Clark's American Bandstand... Four months earlier on May 31st it entered Billboard's Hot Top 100 chart; eventually it peaked at #4 and spent 14 weeks on the Top 100... It also reached #4 on Billboard's R&B chart and #4 on the United Kingdom's Singles chart... R.I.P. Mr. Clark...

Saludos!!!
Do you'se see Stevie feeling around behind himself at the start, heck I love this guy, and his Music, that shook me up thinking he'd lost a switch for something, but pure cool is the Man himself...
No se porque yo te amo con locura soy maria molina soy pequeña te amo con locura tu voz tus canciones me facinan estoy en la isla de margarita venezuela q dios te bendiga grandemente i love you
As someone mentioned earlier he's not playing the piano on this performance but the string parts on a Synclavier synth which is different as the supporting musicians usually do this. Not as easy to play these other parts when singing!
