I think Stevie is the truly one of the few only people who knew Michael for who he was inside. He didn't see MJ through his skin changes, facial changes, (which affected the way others looked at him sadly). He knew him through his voice, his music, his character. I wish we didn't primarily judge others on just their looks, but on the content of their character.
Man this country literally destroys the careers of some people. MJ was a great guy, who was harassed in his final years. He was a kind soul who was to good for this world.

Both coming up n the same era starting their careers at Motown whom founder Berry Gordy said he almost passed on the talent of both Stevie and the Jackson 5. Both r rock n roll hall of famers, MJ being twice, once with his brothers as the Jackson 5 and then as a solo artist. They both sang duos on each others' albums. MJ on Stevie's song ALL I DO and Stevie on MJ's JUST GOOD FRIENDS. 2 Once n a lifetime God given talents. Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson.

My heart broke watching tv on June 26, 2009 (Australian time). The morning news show dropped all of their programming to discuss reports that Michael had had a heart attack, and then they said "the los Angeles times is now confirming that he has died" and they changed the graphics on screen to say "Michael Jackson has died".
10 years later since I commented on this video and my heart still aches listening to Stevie talk about Michael. We miss you everyday Michael. I will never 'get over' you. Ever.

I love both Stevie and MJ! I am teary-eyed now but when I saw the memorial I cried through out most if not all of it esp. when Stevie sang and I don't know how Stevie did that w/o crying himself as him and MJ were very good friends! I love ya, Stevie and MJ! RIP MJ! :(

Mj meant & still means so much to me. I really know it was hard on him they were really close. It so hard for so many of us and especially the people who were closest to us. I still cry over MJ at times and will always love him forever. So glad we still have I Stevie stay with us pls.🙏😥
My mom LOVES Stevie Wonder I mean adores him and she feels the SAME way about MJ. Got to give legends there flowers while they’re on earth. I think people really felt bad after MJ passed cause he was scrutinized for EVERYTHING and died so young.

Umm, he knew John Lennon very well. Stevie performed with John Lennon on several occasions and he was there at the infamous A Toot and a Snore sessions with Lennon and McCartney. There is a video of Stevie saying when Lennon played him the song Imagine, he told Lennon that he didn't like the anti-religion theme of the song. Please do some research before you make comments that can easily be disproved.
