Yes to divorce.. It is unfair if we don't have divorce law.

It is unfair. The rich can afford annulment, the poor cannot. Yet annulment and divorce are for the same purpose and same end result.

Why can't people see the "REALITY?!?" Again, DIVORCE is NOT for those who are happy. It is for those who SUFFERED and are still SUFFERING from ABUSE, physically and or psychologically... Think of others, they too deserve the right to be protected and be free from abuse.

To be clear, nobody talks about economic fallout of divorce. Dissolution of marriage aka divorce in other countries doesnot stop spousal support. And child support. Let us take the debate on the economic effects of divorce on individual/family since everybody is 100% stuck on the emotional advantages of divorce. Let us not forget ofws that will be mandated by law to economically support spouse and children after divorce and then really talk about suffering and poverty.

If you don't agree with divorce, then don't get divorced. Similarly, if you're against gay marriage, then don't get gay married.

Whoever says that what is needed is only to amend the law on annulment dont know what they are talking about. Annulment means your marriage is invalid from the start or is voidable, amending it by increasing the grounds for such is the same as divorce.

well now, first off, is Stephen a lawyer? cos he makes a good point on constitutionality. that line of argument can be developed and one can go to court and establish precedent on due process. second, does he teach economics somewhere? he should conduct seminars at least for young people of all ages. i would go at 64 years old. i am out of here and coming back when i have more time to listen with rapped attention...blessings to all
