I've watched both you and Larl play this and I still don't understand that falling block troll. Btw I had MM1 and MM2 each since day 1 and put hundreds of hours into both and I still feel like I watch you guys on YT more than I actually play it. These are the best games ever made by far.

Does anyone know how long this took in total on stream? Even if approximately? I see the final 39:11 time, but it felt like it would be longer than that.

I don't have Mario Maker 2 and Carl managed to get to the ending and not spaghetti it, but I have to ask: Can't you just stay on the cannon at checkpoint 1 as it falls and go through the end pipe? Juz immediately went into the first pipe each time because it makes sense before the twist, but I wonder if you can skip the rest of the level once you are aware that there's actually two pipes there just by waiting a little longer for the cannon to fall.

I find it interesting that in SMM1, everybody restarted before the death animation finished. In SMM2, even if they don't have a checkpoint yet, Juz and Carl sit there and wait to die instead of restarting.
Couldn't he have won directly from CP1 but not going in the green pipe and instead going in the red? Or was there a setup at the end that required you to win in the same life as hitting CP3(1)?
