To anyone thinking this is a genuine beef, it's clear that Copeland knows he fluffed it, and is just being tongue-in-cheek about the whole thing. Look at the reactions of the other two... They think it's hilarious.
Them fighting is honestly what made their albums so good, them constantly clashing all the time to include parts they wanted really made each song different and had their own individualistic flair.
I just watched this dvd again and had to know if someone had uploaded this moment. I also noticed Stew snuck virtually the same fill into the first song they played during their first show at the Whisky... LOVE IT! :P
I hated it when The Police broke up. But I still listen to them. They were a classic power trio. I always admired the talents of all three, but was always most enthralled by Sting’s ability to play complicated bass lines, sing beautifully often in a different rhythm from the bass part, all the while playing his programmed Taurus pedals. Talk about multi-tasking!
